Open Post: Hosted By The Voice's Mess Of An Opening Number
In case you missed it, here's Blake Shelton, Xtina, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green doing "Under Pressure" during last night's The Voice. This shit looks more like the opening number to your children's nightmare. You've got Blake looking like a background extra from King of the Hill, Xtina looking like a cartoon Grandmama Addams on bath salts, Adam looking like Jane's brother from Daria and Cee Lo looking like the ripped out heart of Trash Heap. Not only did they look a mess, but they sounded like a damn mess too. This is what it sounds like when a squeaky dump truck carrying a cat orgy crashes into a walrus howling contest.

It's times like this that I wish The Voice was really The Mutes.

This will drive me nuts now because I used to be really into 'tubing' artwork in art groups for taggers (and for my own custom tags I made) but, the artists got really pissed off about their works being cut out and re-used for tags (understandable), so I quit tubing altogether and just stuck to doing my own art.
BTW 'tubing' is a term that is mean for being able to cut out an image and paste it into other images. Some people are horrible at it though.

Sorry for this sudden onset of my comments, as I don't usually comment.
I just saw Snidey's comment and it reminded me, too of another incident of helplessness w/ animals.
So, I was out at this bay and up above on the cliff were a lot of people, I was just taking a leisurely walk. And, I see one man is yelling to me, and pointing, and I'm like "What?...What?" Said man keeps yelling and I cannot hear a word over the sound of the water, but I look and finally see where he is pointing. It is a sick seagull. I look back at this man, and yell, 'What can I do, why don't you come down here?" This was 2 years ago, so my memory is a bit faded, but somehow the 2 of us ended up picking the poor seagull up and putting it by the rocks, and I was thinking, 'for what, so it could die alone on some rock, why not in the ocean?"
And i had sads for at least a week, and couldn't walk down to the bay for quite awhile, it seemed every time I did, I'd see a dead animal.
Well, anyway, like I said, people suck, and sorry for long post.

I feel the same way about people, sometimes, well usually.
I was once (when trying to save a baby bird), told that the mother would not accept the baby bird back into her nest if she smells the scent from a human, so I just hoped the mother would find the baby bird. Don't know if she did.
If it were me I'd bring my iphone w/ me in the hopes of seeing this umbrella woman and keep playing Rhianna's Umbrella song over & over while I sat next to her, and I'd do it as often as possible. People can really suck sometimes.

I just got back from a friend's house and and came very close to hitting a duck that kept darting in and out of traffic. I noticed that it was trying to protect another duck that had been hit. I circled round the block to get the dying duck off the road and it was dying, no doubt. It looked at me and tried to flap its' wings and legs. Talk about feeling helpless.

I've been a PA and while yes, it is a thankless job and low in the pecking order, it isn't an internship. The state, maybe four months ago, started a cross-examination file that is now perhaps 12 hours long. It is full of every inconsistent fact and statement about or by CA, organized by topic, with citations to the evidence at trial. That doesn't include the hours of cross-examination the state will develop from her trial testimony itself. It would be like shooting slow, large fish in a barrel.
