Hot Slut Of The Day!

St. Angie’s severed head mysteriously floating on the pages of Newsweek reminded me of something buried deep in my childhood and I just couldn’t put my brain on it. But THANK MADDOX for Dlisted reader Elizabeth, because she solved the case. Floating Angie Head IS the Evil Spirit from The Care Bears Movie. Life suddenly makes sense. Elizabeth puts it like this:

I was just reading your story, “Angie’s Head Floats onto Newsweek,” and I was struck by the thought of, where the hell have I seen this creepy face before…? And then it hit me…the Evil Spirit from The Care Bears Movie! That freaky ass book scared the shit out of me as a child, just as St. Angie is doing in those Newsweek pics, so I feel it is only fitting to make the Spirit HSOTD.

And here’s the description of the Evil Spirit from Villains Wiki. Hold the top of your head, because your mind will want to blow out of your skull from reading the similarities. It’s like we’ve been dropped into the future and are reading a page straight out of Maddox’s tell-all “Saintie Dearest“:

The Evil Spirit is the chief antagonist of the first Care Bears movie and is depicted as a sentient magic-book with the face of malevolent witch on it, she is extremely manipulative and cruel – utilising a friendless young boy named Nicholas as a pawn by which to take over the world and get rid of everything that is good and pure and replace it with wickedness and corruption.

See what I mean. Taking over the world….. Replace it with wickedness and corruption (examples: The Tourist)…. Angie and the Evil Spirit were separated at book!
