I will always love Nic Cage for "Leaving Las Vegas", but I don;t think I have liked anything he has been in since.
I'm guessibg his transition to (more apt to be) high-grossing action movies coincided with his financial issues (his extravagant home collecting and/or his issues with the I.R.S.).
He was great in Raising Arizona, and well before that, Birdy.
