As your ass already knows, 12 advertisers of Rush Limbaugh's radio show dropped like a dick coming off of Viagra after he called Georgetown student Sandra Fluke a slut and prostitute for testifying before congress (after she was denied the first time) that she thinks insurance companies and schools need to include birth control in their drug plans. Just like Rush, noted dumb fuck Patricia Heaton thought Sandra Fluke was saying that taxpayers should pay for birth control, which personally I wouldn't mind. If birth control was free and you could easily get it all sorts of places including the bar, humanity wouldn't be shaking in fear over the spawn of Snookicoming at us in a few months. But that's just me, and Patricia Heaton obviously disagrees with this, because bitch let out a steaming pile of CRAZY on her Twitter last week. And even if she was a Tim Tebowist, no institution has the right to ban or discriminate against her because of her religious affiliation therefore she can attend any school she wants and that institution has to recognize her constitutional rights as an American, she has no obligation to recognize theirs'. Also, the university isn't against it, they've backed her up all the way.
And SHOCKER!!! Many people receive scholarships and grants to attend school, or they take out loans. And law school students specifically can't work while they're in school because it's so arduous so their budget is especially limited...

She told some story about Michelle Pfeiffer and plastic surgery that turned out to be a complete and utter fabrication and afterwards got called on it. She made up some bullshit excuse that she was only telling a story about plastic surgery in HW to be humorous, blah, blah (why do all these assholes use the excuse of "humor" to cover up for their vile lies? Limbaugh used the same bullshit excuse) Anyway, she had to call Pfeiffer and apologize and Albom was so pissed off he spoke about it on his show the next day, how she had lied to his face and said he would never have her back. You hear alot of argument about the rights of religious institutions, but this country nor it's constitution was made to represent the rights of institutions, therefore, though churches or religious institutions have the right to exist in this country, the right of the individual is paramount thusly they can't deny work to or impose regulations on the citizens who are apart of said institution. Just because a chrch doesn't believe in BC or premarital sex doesn't give them any right to deny those rights to their employees...

I love Planned Parenthood and the low-cost care it provides. I don't make enough money right now to buy my own birth control ... which is outrageously high out of pocket. Even just a pap smear is not cheap and I went and applied for assistance for these services. I don't use the BC pill to fuck everyone I know (though I could). My PMS was outta whack and my depression got pretty bad around the time of my period. I'm hoping these pills help me.
Anything to reduce the drain on welfare would be worth it IMO.
Invariably, you're going to have people who are immature, irresponsible and selfish. That being said, no matter how irresponsible the person, they're still a person with just as many rights and privileges as the most responsible person in this country. Someone having unprotected sex and catching AIDS or someone having five different kids by six different men isn't just a burden to themselves but society as well. While paying half a fraction of a penny more in insurance premiums(true story) might be a burden to some, when weighted against the societal consequences of unwanted pregnancy or ovarian cancer, it seems like a small price to pay.
Entitlement isn't with young people who can't live on $5 of food a day, it's with old fogies who want to cut school lunches and medicad cuz being taxed that extra penny is just too unconscionable to them...

Entitlement has gotten worse in recent years. I work a government contract and I cannot tell you how many twenty-somethings I work with are the worst. If we get per diem, they will suck every last penny dry for the day buying expense meals and constantly staying in hotels they don't really need to. If I have $34.50 for the day for food, I normally spend about $5 whereas the younger ones will spend it all. They do not realize that it's TAXPAYER money paying it, they just see a handout. It's disgusting. I've heard them say shit like "I love spending other people's money" and I feel ill.

CSG, there is nothing wrong with personal responsibility. But, frankly, I'm just having a hard time understanding why people are giving this girl such a hard time. She's in college. She obviously wants to make something of herself. Pregnancy has the potential to leave her living off of taxpayer dollars for the next 18 years, versus a pill or implant or ring that will keep that from happening. For every girl like Sarah who is fighting for bc, there are hundreds of others who are staring dumbfounded at a positive pregnancy test as we speak, because they couldn't afford reliable birth control.
