This blind item reads like something out of a Twigay's fan fiction, but I'll take it, because it allows me to use the nickname Peter Felchinelli again. Felch a nelly. Oh, yes he did.
There is an actor that is still working today and will always be a B lister because of his acting talent, although he had a very long absence because of these two incidents. No one would hire the Academy Award winner/nominee despite his pedigree because of what he did. Apparently time heals a lot of wounds but when you do what he did, it takes a long time and forgiveness from the two women involved.
Back at the height of his fame which was not that long ago, he met up with this very underage teen who had just hit it big and was partying up a storm. When I say teen, I mean barely a teen, but still the biggest story out there. She was a wild child and was not above getting wasted out of her mind. Frequently. Daily even. No family who cared so she was on her own and this actor took advantage of that and had sex with her. She had sex previously but it was with guys just a little older than her, not a guy in his 30's/40's. He did it more than once. In fact he moved her in with him for about a month and then she got pregnant and he kicked her out and sent her back home to her family. What to do? The family sent her to get an abortion and also to rehab. Nothing really happened to the actor at that time. Later though he got into more trouble.
The actor was involved with a woman who is also an actress and is a good solid B-/C+ to this day. Talented. She is very talented. They had a consensual relationship, although any relationship with this actor was always fraught with verbal and physical abuse. He beat her and yelled at her. She too got pregnant and wanted her to have an abortion. She refused. He would beat her on a daily basis to get her to change her mind. She refused. So, he beat her some more until finally one day she lost the baby. Two days later she was gone and so were his job prospects. Both actresses had powerful friends and this A lister who was on the top of his game just faded away almost instantly. (CDAN)

The rape of Natalie Wood sounds like a rumor that can be confirmed through more than one available source, doesn't sound like it's a secret at least from the comments and other things out there for consumption. I've been a Drew fan for years and read everything I could about her from when she was 14 and on up. I've never seen a picture of her with William Hurt and I don't think it was her family who put her in rehab. Her mother needed rehab too and her father was on the streets. If this IS true than she has more demons than I imagined. I read the article about Kirk Douglas and Natalie Wood. I believed everything until Natasha's phone number was listed. Is that part for real?? She should be furious if that is real. If she's someone you admire, you don't go giving out her phone number. The whole Douglas family is screwed up for sure along with the O'Neills. If all this stuff is true or even a little true than Hollywood is a place to stay away from. Everything this person writes at the end is spot on about Hollywood and not envying it or the money. Btw, Drew was VERY young in "Altered States". William Hurt was nominated for an Oscar three consecutive years: Kiss of the Spider Woman, 1985 (he won); Children of a Lesser God, 1986; and Broadcast News, 1987. He was at the height of his career before disappearing from major projects for 18 years (see IMDB), and at this time Drew would have been turning 13 which fits the blind - "barely a teen".
Who knows, but it fits. We know how out of control Drew was, her mother was useless, she went to rehab at that time, and Steven Speilberg is her god father. Actually, this cements it for me, especially when you add in Hurt's abuse of Marlee Matlin which she said was 'daily', and he's admitted to it by apologizing.

Hurt may be the person in question and he's certainly had his personal problems and sounds like he can be a real asshole, but I don't find that to be a particularly useful stat at all. Some actors work forever and NEVER get an Oscar nomination--the fact that he went 18 years between his means nothing.
Anyone can write an IMDB bio--they are hardly gospel. And if you look at his credit history on IMDB and elsewhere, he's worked pretty steadily all his career, if not spectacularly, as you'd imagine he would have given his talent.

Wow! I hate to admit it, but that was engrossing and I read every word. I believe it about Kirk Douglas and Natalie Wood. That whole family is messed up.
You know, after seeing all that stuff he wrote about Diana Jenkins, the whole Room 23 prostitution catalog and everything else, I was left with such a sick feeling about Hollywood (sicker then I already had). I LOVED that he didn't mention Goopy on his "good people of Hollywood" list and really this whole thing made me love him more.
