A couple of weeks ago your Facebook feed was probably covered with that KONY 2012 video and now I'm sure it's covered with this craziness right here. TMZ is on this shit and got a hold of a short clip of KONY 2012's director and Invisible Children co-founder Jason Russell having a balls-out meltdown near SeaWorld. Unless dude's peen is a few feet long and he faps by pounding it against the sidewalk, I don't see any masturbation shit. Jason is currently in the hospital on a Code Cheetos (aka 5150 psychiatric hold) for obvious reasons.
If you didn't tell me this dude was having a naked King Kong breakdown, I'd probably just think it was a hippie doing naked yoga on a Thursday afternoon.

Well the bi-polar disorder would explain this guy's charisma and huge ego. It does seem really odd that this charity is so hyper-focused on Kony when he's not even in Uganda. I feel for the Ugandans who are ticked that all the hype is misrepresenting their country and its problems.
OMFG, I was called just about every thing but my name on twitter when I DARED question this man and the whole 'movement.' I never said anything negative just that I wanted to research this more. "Stop being a negative bitch," "What is there to research?," "What more do you need to know?" were just a few of the things people were saying to me. So many jumped on this bandwagon w/o doing an ounce of research trying to find out anything about IC or Uganda for that matter. Why are people so gullible and stupid? It is amazing to me the things people will believe simply because it's popular and it's what everybody else is believing. All it took was some empty, big headed pop star(RIHANNA) to retweet the KONY 2012 link and it went viral. Now she is talking about taking a trip to Uganda. lol. I bet you that dumb ass girl can't even locate Africa on a map.
With all that said, it is actually sad to see someone losing their marbles like this in public. I wonder if he has some kind of mental disorder or something.

I was reading that the Ugandans are puzzled about this video anyway because Kony left in 2006 and they said their life is totally different now and not about him at all. the impression i have got-at least whats its been made out to be by media outlets is they want american forces to go in and kill kony-also seen as sort of invading the country which could set off a war-so yes like your analogy. i say from outlets because from the actual kony video the only thing i got was that they wanted you to buy their merch and post it all over your local neighbourhood.
also-for a 30 minute video they spent loads on i expected to see more details about the kony situation-not 20 minutes of white people crying and hugging each other, 5 minutes of the directors son and only 5 minutes on the actual subject itself! i'm all for overthrowing evil warlords, just think this campaign doesnt really have the answers - the problem and solution is a little more complex.
I bet the 'masturbation' part was just him trying to grab a hold of anything...cars, pavement, penises... whatever was around and easy and obvious to beat. I doubt it was sexual.

I just finished watching the Kony2012 video for the first time and it does seem really suspect for several reasons. First off, it's more than a bit too polished and expertly edited for a rogue "David vs. Goliath" campaign. Second, it encapsulates the whole story of a Ugandan civil war that's been going on for decades into this pat little one person problem. Catch Kony and Uganda is saved! Sounds like a freaking Bruckheimer movie plot than real-life political turmoil.
Now, all that said, I believe Invisible Children's intentions are good. They probably had to over-simplify the issue to get as many people up to speed as fast as possible. They also probably poured a lot of $$$ into the production of the youtube video to keep people interested and attentive beyond 30 seconds.
