Open Post: Hosted By The Only Beyonce Any Of Us Should Care About
In honor of National Puppy Day (I know, EVERY DAY should be National Puppy Day), I give you this story that might microwave your cold slug heart until it actually feels warm emotions. Beyonce the puppy started farting at the Grim Reaper even before she came into this world two weeks ago. Beyonce's first dance with death came when her mom, a stray, was almost euthanized. The second dance with death came when they almost aborted her and her brothers and sisters. (Look into the future: Tim Tebow and Beyonce co-starring in a pro-life PSA.) The third dance with death happened after Beyonce was born weighing in at only four ounces. The animal rescue center didn't call her Beyonce because she weighs as much as the feather light pillow the other Beyonce strapped to her belly during pregnancy. They named her Beyonce because she's a survivor.
They should've named her Jeff Probst instead, because he's the host of Survivor and just like this puppy, you really want to cuddle with him, take him for a walk and pick up his poop with a plastic bag glove. Naming her Beyonce was kind of a mistake. Not only will Beyonce's lawyers try to sue the dingles off of her for copyright infringement, but Mama Tina's lace front is looking at puppy Beyonce like she's its next meal. But since Beyonce has cheated death several times, Mama Tina's lace front is no match for her.

I'm not convinced. For the 4th time, can you show me where someone close to the case or involved with it has released the statement who is screaming on that tape? Because if it is Trayvon I'd like to know what was happening. I think Zimmerman the "cop" fighting the kid and trying to detain him and screaming for his neighbors to come help him is very plausible. You don't.
Awww helll. I must concur counselor and doc. Much as I dread the popo getting it wrong...and they do...investigation and impartiality are only a couple of the things that separate us from the animals. Damn it all tho...nothing is going to bring those parents' baby back to life.

I think you two are missing the fact that people are not only upset because an unarmed kid who was doing absolutely nothing but waking home was shot by someone who is documented on tape as stating the kid was a drug addicted threat to the community for no determinable reason other than the color of his skin and therefore decided to follow and call the police on him....people are mainly upset because after he made the claim of self-defense, police proceeded to not follow procedure by taking a statement before questioning the shooter, not drug testing the shooter, and not taking the shooters gun into possession while at the same time down-playing the incident, leading witnesses who stated that they heard a young man cry out into stating they heard Zimmerman cry out and not even bothering to interview many witness who were at the scene or on the phone with Martin at the time. And after this shoddy police work which seem to be mainly focused on putting Martin as the aggressor and Zimmerman as the defendant, rather than trying to find the truth of the situation, they refused to arrest him stating "stand your ground", a law that would only protect Zimmerman if the shooting happened the way he claimed it did, not the way the evidence provided to media provided does. A better argument could be made that Martin was using the "stand your ground" law when a stranger who saw him as a threat prosued and then confronted him when he was obviously trying to get away...
Plus the Justice department is involved, and the Justice department doesn't get involved in cases because a petition is signed, they only get involved when a great injustice has occurred, which looks to be the case here...
People are upset because for a minute there, it looked like Zimmerman was not going to get charged with a crime and have his day in court to go through the judicial system which makes this country great; all because he simply stated to the police he didn't do it and the police took his side and refused to charge him. If the justice department hadn't got involved, this man would be walking free with no threat to have his day in court.

so, why are you so convinced by what you read, TexnDoc? because what I read, and heard by the way, is that it's the child screaming, not the perp. maybe this is a case of he said she said.
and what makes you so sure the police are in a hurry to prove it's the child screaming? that would mean they're keystone incompetent cops. I suppose the onus is on the grieving family to hire forensic scientists and investigators to prove what seems to me to be obvious? or maybe the witnesses who were shut down by the police could prove it.

I wasn't there sweetie. For the 3rd time, show me where it has been verified that it is Trayvon screaming for help. Because the newspaper accounts I've read say Zimmerman said HE was the one screaming for help. I'm not an "octave" expert.
Let me offer you this proof: if it was determined it was Trayvon screaming for help the audio would be on the TV news shows every 15 minutes. Well, it's not.
I'm no Zimmerman supporter. I think he should be arrested for following the guy when told to stay put.
Momus, we're not talking about what he's entitled to in a court of law as a US citizen. We're talking about the facts of the case, and the conclusions one can make based on those facts. We're not talking about what his defense attorney has to do, we're talking about his actions, which are not defensible. Responsible human beings don't kill other unarmed human beings who are not committing crimes unless they are murderers. Feel free to dispute that much about this case although I don't see how. The child was unarmed: fact. The child was not committing a crime: fact. The child is dead due to the actions of Vigilante Fatboy: fact.

First, this man patrolled that neighborhood everyday, how could he possibly not know the street names and why was it so difficult for him to see the sign from his car?
Who the fuck would even want a wannabe cop patrolling their neighborhood? If I saw someone skulking around my neighborhood claiming to be on the lookout for possible evildoers, I'd be on the phone pronto to the REAL police with a report of a possibly mentally ill person disturbing the peace.
I'm betting that FL neighborhood is horribly middling to boot.

Also, Zimmerman had little to no self defense marks from Martin. I would understand questioning the shooting if such evidence had been presented; but from what I'm reading, his defense is solely based on his own word.

I'm not deducing ANYTHING. I asked: show me where that 911 tape has been analyzed and proved that it's Trayvon screaming. Because there are people saying it is Zimmerman screaming for help.

1) Trayvon was unarmed.
2) Trayvon was walking to a home after having purchased candy.
3) Fatboy confronted the child when he was told not to by the 911 operator.
In addition, I assume you've heard fatboy's call to 911, and when you hear the neighbor's call to 911 and the person screaming in the background, you can deduce that it is not the assailant's voice screaming.
So what is there to defend about Fatboy's actions? He used deadly force against an unarmed child who was not committing a crime. And how do you defend a police department that knows those immutable facts, yet, have not arrested or even detained said assailant?

? Has it been verified who is screaming for help there? I thought the story was Zimmerman was trying to detain him and the were fighting and it was Zimmerman screaming for his neighbors to come help him. Show me where authorities have stated it's the victim screaming. And not some post from YouTube where whoever put it up said it was.
Whats even worse, that kid was screaming for his life, several people heard but not only did no one intervene, no one even looked out a window to see what was goin on. One woman told the dispatcher she refused because she was too scared. Im NEVER going ti florida!

Sorry to divert traffic away from MK, but I'll send it as a tip, too.
In his initial statement to the police, he said he was following Tray and only got out of the car so he could check what street the kid was on at which point Martin came outta nowhere and attacked him. He says he ran screaming into the night at which point the teen caught up with him so he felt he had to shoot.

Second, who brings a gun to go check the name of a street sign?
Thirdly, the person screaming in that horrible audio is afraid for his life, zimmermans injuries were nowhere near life theeatening, Trayvons were.
Does it make sense that a kid with no violent history would just attack a man twice as big as him for no fucking reason or is it more likly as his gf who was on the phone with him at the time stated, trayvon was scared tried to run away and confronted by a man who was sure he was a punk and wanted to become a hero like the police he admired?

So did I, M.E., so did I. :( I still feel sick to my stomach after listening to that because it upset me so badly. I had to get some fresh air and take a quick walk around the block to shake off the horrific feeling that washed over me.
I know it's wrong but if I were the parent of that young man, I'd exact my own form of justice, consequences be damned if the law won't do what is right.

The state attorney is not listed as an option when you call that number.
Personally I'd prefer to leave the feds out of it, because the burden rests squarely on the shoulders of the state.
What question is left? The facts are:
1) the child was unarmed
2) the child nor the perp were on the perp's property
3) the perp stalked and confronted the child when he was specifically told not to
4) the perp called the child a racial slur on the 911 call
5) the child is on record screaming for help (and no one came to his aid)
6) the perp used unnecessary deadly force
7) the child had every right to fear his assailant as he is a creepy looking fat fucker stalking him and again, he is unarmed
is there something else that needs to be "discovered?" I swear if I didn't have a child to watch over I'd go down to Florida and demand justice myself...it's about to be by any means necessary.
and who cares if the police chief stepped down. coward. he should have arrested the assailant and THEN stepped down.

The Hispanic man who shot him had a previous conviction that was dropped (I think it was assault on an officer when he got into a scuffle over one of his friends getting arrested).

Hekki, thanks for the info. I'll gladly do anything that I can to help find justice for Trayvon Martin. May this horrible act bring about some type of changes in law, or at least humanity. So heartbreaking. I cannot wrap my brain around the amount of hurt his friends and family are experiencing.

So I gave my niece,8, an nephew,5, a ride home from school today. And we're in the car singing, my niece loves to sing, it was that song domino, her favorite. All of a sudden my nephew says, 'Auntie stop singing ,you sound disgusting'. The choice word of disgusting had me laughing. Only kids can get away with bitchy comments.
Everyday is puppeh day at my house ... I found a boston terrier a couple yrs ago. That bitch is da best. lol. We got a fish last week. He dances for his dinner...a blue betta fish. Pretty boy. Named him Captain.
