Hurricane Isaac (who looks like this, obviously) is headed for Louisiana, and Louisiana has Reverend Jesten Peters and her congregation at the Keys of Authority Ministries to thank for that, because they prayed hard for the hurricane to take its bitchy ass far away from the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL. It worked, because God reset Hurricane Isaac's navigation system and pushed it away from Tampa. Rev. Peter said this to the CBN (via Towleroad):
"We have had lots and lots of people praying around the clock that it would move, and after you watch from the very beginning where they were saying it was coming and now where they say it is going, then it has really moved out of the way for us and we appreciate God doing that and moving it for us!"
Now that they have successfully prayed Isaac away, Rev. Peters and her congregation should pray for God to give her at least another inch of brows, because a high-ranking lady of the lord should have an eyebrow situation that takes souls higher. Also, every time I pray to God, I hear the sound of a click followed by a dial tone. It's really weird. So maybe Rev. Peters and her congregation can pray that a naked Prince Hot Ginge (or just a naked ginge with a working ginge peen, or just a naked ginge without a working peen but an extra large carrot in his hand... I'm not picky) lands on my front door. Only they can ayúdame.

Ha! I usually download the torrent first thing in the morning (here) after it airs in the US, so I'm up to date with it. Are you in the UK too? How are you enjoying it so far? Season 4 was just the best! Season 5 has been dragging, but in the last episode shit got real.

@ SpottedDog- I used to think migraines were a way for women to get out of doing mundane chores. My wealthy MIL- always seemed to suffer when she was expected to lift a finger. Joke on me! I developed them while pregnant and I can attest to how awful they are. I actually thought I was having a brain anuerysm or something. The smallest sound was deafening- and the puking!! The extreme you've gone to to keep them at bay speaks volumes as to the intensity of suffering. Have you tried Botox? I haven't had one since- and the perks are great!:)

****I get those bastard headaches, also. Boy, are they fun. The best one of all time was when I started getting the sensation of walking around in ultra-bright light. It was so bright, it was almost like I was on a stage, with the lights pouring down on me. It was awful.
I have been to headache clinics, and they love to push Topamax. Topamax is about as effective as M&Ms. I found them useless.
The only thing that tends to help is Treximet. I take it only occasionally. I noticed they are the most awful during stressful periods of time, or during a menstrual cycle.
It also doesnt help that my life has been very stressful for many years....

People are saying they saw *spoiler* coming. I guessed that it would happen eventually, but not in that episode, so it wasn't until the last 5 minutes that I knew. And even then I still had hope. Also I read some people have predicted a certain character's death is coming soon. This one is probably unexpected, but it has been "foreshadowed" in the episodes so far if you've been watching carefully. Ugh. I can definitely see it happening. :(

Second day of jury duty...I am going to have to pop No-doz.
For my Business Law class, I had to sit in on trials all semester long. I was on a first name basis with the bailiffs etc afterward. Last day of class, I had jury duty and was picked (despite saying I was a law student etc) for the largest case in my county's history. It was the longest deliberation too. Fuckers.
My case had dildos for evidence we had to examine/handle with gloves so we did get some laughs out of it.
So God moved the storm away from the Republican Convention to another place where someone else can suffer instead...? Ok then.
My insurance doesn't either. Boo! It's around $400 and it lasts 6 months. My Dr. offers buy three get one free. It sounds sketch, I know. I call it my " Migraine Miles".
Winniwins - My insurance won't cover it. :-(
I inquired a while back and got promptly rejected. If this does not work, then I will have to go back to the neurologist and at that point could possibly petition the insurance co to cover the treatment.

Been battling them for years. Drugs don't help relieve pain so I take phenergan so I don't puke and I sleep them off; usually for 2 days and sometimes 3. I just had an occipital nerve block late last week.

It sounds disgusting (needles in the scalp) but after a few seconds your scalp goes numb. There were 2 golf ball lumps on the head after the injections but they went away in 6-8 hours. 4 days later my scalp is still a little sore. I'm hopeful these injections will work.
Migraines suck! I feel for all who suffer from them.

The pancreatitis info is kind of alarming though. It said something about how it could be caused by gall stones, however, I had my gall bladder removed a few years back, BUT I do have some of the (grosser) symptoms so idk...EEEEH!

To those that have migraines, both my bro in IL (just got off the phone with) and myself on the EC woke up, and went to work, with them today. Interesting, some of you had them also recently. It's 10p and I'm crashing; slight throb on left side and some solid sleep should fix it hopefully. Hope you guys ride yours out without too much fogginess and pain. Milk helps mine; that and pitch darkness (no light/sound entering) in the room.

Hekki - a lot of my daughters symptoms lead to that, also. They also found some chemical or bacteria or something in her stomach... initials like htl or htc or something. Made the mistake of googling it and found its a big factor in causing stomach cancer... uhg. Even tho its common in a lot of people, it goes "dormant" or something in most.

Pennyroyal -- thanks, hon, for your concern & information. Besides the gastro problems, I have many other problems, like anemia, migrains, depression, etc. It's a very delicate balance with my ass. I had an ultrasound that revealed "sludge" in my gallbladder. I'm a mess. I need House to check out my ass!!!
