Open Post: Hosted By Jon Hamm And Yes, He's Happy To See You
I'd like to think that as Jon Hamm strolled with Jennifer Westfeldt in NYC yesterday, someone stopped him and thanked him for showing us that God does wonderful, wonderful, wonderful things by not putting any underwear on that morning. Then I'd like to think Jon raised his eyebrow and said that he's wearing two pairs of briefs and one pair of boxers and it still can't hide all the love he's got to give. SWOOOON!
You know, I could sit here and write four haikus, six poems, a 5-part series and an essay on the Hickory Farms basket in Jon Hamm's pants, but instead I'll just let you grab the Crisco, sit back and enjoy the Hamm Log.* And these pictures sent from the heavens need a theme song. Yes, I watch Boss, but have fallen behind this season. KG is very good. I have to put out of my mind how much of a douche bag he is but he is a really gifted actor. Not many people can do both comedy and drama well, but he does.
You have got to see Breaking Bad from start to finish. The first seasons were the best, but it continued to be great. Cranston is AH-MAY-ZING! I also love Aaron Paul.
Little known fact, but Cranston started out in a soap years ago called "Loving". I remember it from when I was a very wee one. How far he has come.
Breaking Bad is a must see!

WHAAAAT????? Two Headed shark attack, WITH BROOKE HOGAN????? I missed it??????
To be honest Sans, it would've been better than The Vow, which I watched at some point late last night. I want to punch Channing Tatum in the face so badly, you have no idea. He must be handing out rim jobs like candy out in L.A in order to get acting jobs. He looks dumb, can't act, and delivers lines like a mutant from another planet.
I did watch Burning Palms, which was interesting. Nick Stahl played a rapist in one of the stories, where the victim ends up being a weirdo who wants him to hang out with her (Zoe Saldana) and rape her again and again. His facial expressions throughout the movie cracked me up. Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) played one half of a gay couple who adopts a child and that story was hysterical! It is a fairly amusing movie.

I watch Syfy channel all the time, the giant reptile movies are a favorite of mine. How could anyone not love Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus? That Deborah Gibson is one high quality actress!

UBF -- OMG, I HATED "Dr. T & The Women." It was THE worst! Of course I watched it because Richard Gere was so gorgeous in it, but OMG, it was filled with the most annoying bunch of hens -- Helen Cunt, Kate Hudson, Tara Reid, etc. All they did was squak and be annoying. Farrah Fawcett was some crazy-ass wife, Helen Cunt was a PGA broad (how appropos) and Liv Tyler was in it, too. The worst!!!

EC -- I hate to admit this, but I've never watched "Breaking Bad." When it started, I was so invested in so many other shows, I just didn't have the time. I now regret it because everyone raves about it. I'll catch up with sometime down the road. Have you caught "Boss" yet? OMG, Kelsey Grammer is amazing on that show, so unbelievably evil. He really is amazing. Like him or not, he really is good. I can't believe he wasn't nominated for an Emmy, he's that good.

No Portman didn't deserve the Oscar. I will be the first to admit that I have questionable taste per my viewing (I watch some of the most shitastic Syfy movies). However, I was expecting better when it came to that movie and all I got was BS.

I stand corrected, he won a Golden Globe in 2008.
I just think as far as characters go, Hamm is great at Draper, but he is no where near the actor Cranston is at playing Walter on BB. It, IMO, would be a real travesty if Hamm won an Emmy this year for Mad Men, because Cranston is sooooooo far superior.

"Black Swan" was SUCH a disappointment. Especially since I thought "Requiem For A Dream" was genius. You can't win 'em all, I guess.

Yes, Hamm is good as Don, but I do not feel he was at his best last season. I was really disappointed in most of the episodes, and only thought maybe three were really interesting.
Personally, I think Bryan Cranston is superb as Walter on Breaking Bad, and will be very disappointed if he does not win this year.
