I was just thinking about the Magic School Bus the other day and how much I hated it. It was the frumpiest children's book ever and I always saw it on the shelf of kids with over-protective, dull, and strict parents. The type who NEED their kids to be in AP and give them a superiority complex about it.
The most offensive thing about it was easily Miss Frizzle. First of all, no sane person opts to dress both as frumpily and wacky as she does. Second of all iguanas are fucking disgusting and creepy and she keeps her's on her lap? She's also a shitty teacher seeing as how she only teaches science lessons.

Also, The Magic School Bus reminds me of the giantess porn Crazyinjapan was talking about. My kid was telling me about how the school bus shrank down and went into someone's mouth to learn about the digestive system or some shit, and then it flew out of the mouth and someone thought the tiny, shrunken bus was a fly and tried to swat it.
