Jillian No, Cameron. Us women don't always want to be objectified unless maybe on a good day when we're having sex but men re the same. Okay, to the "What the hell is he looking at?": I have been bulimic and the second time around it nearly cost my life. It was really bad, and I didn't realize it.
So. I was learning for uni 10 years ago. from 5 pm to 5 am the following morning, hadn't brushed my teeth, my hair, had drunk 3 litres of water to get all the food out and went to get some cigarettes, at 5 am in the morning with the oldest clothes I could find, a washed out tshirt and a really ugly skirt and doc martens - I was a walking mess.
2 people on the street, one on his bike who slingered dangerously and stared at me. I got really really angry (I was so used to that fucking staring and it annoyed the hell out of me, in fact I purposely got an eyebrow piercing, 20 ear piercings and green, blue, purple, pink whatever hair just so I could imagine what the people were staring at) so I shouted at him what the hell he was looking at. He was mumbeling that I looked good. MY ASS!!
Anyway: I have been fat an all I heard was "well, but you've got a beautiful face", when I got skinny, people treated me as if I was a pack of milk or whatever and it annoys me to this day - Nobody took the time to get to know me (with 2 exceptions) and they just expected me to be the woman of their dreams, but beware I acted differently! - So no, Cameron Diaz, I really don't want to be objectified - it's ok during sex, but otherwise it sucks!

1. just yesterday i said to my friend, a fellow biddy of a certain age - "do you see our shoes? do these shoes say "i'd like you to think of me sexually, and to desire me" or do they say, "i could give a sh*t what you think, please get away from me."

we agreed we both had on the latter, and we wanted the former. but we dont even know HOW to dress in a way that says "i am a sexual being." so we both look like old frumpy middle school gym teachers, when really all we want is to be ravished.

As others have stated, I don't think empty-headed Cammy knows what the word means. She needs a good dictionary/thesaurus set for Christmas.
