Oliver was fighting him because Gabriel took a swing at his head first. If someone took a swing at my head I would have to think I would try and knock them out too.
All I'd like to suggest is that in the course of their history and becasue perhaps given his love for his child Gabriel might just might at times not always be a good guy in every single case and never to blame for anything ever. I just find it strange that so few people are saying taking a swing at someone's head with your daughter beside you might not be the smartest thing to do. Nobody seems to questions his motives ever...about anything.
Again Halle by all accounts has done some questionable moves to be sure and sometimes perhaps we should question Gabriel's moves as well that's all I'm sayin Reason :)

Ok, I am not a Halle Berry fan. I thought she deserved the Academy Award but her "white guilt" Oscar speech rubbed me the wrong way and nowadays I just ignore victimology shit like that and will not take such a person seriously. I will also admit that I never paid much attention to Berry's lifetime of news-making antics and have never been very focused on this story except when it hits me in the face, and it hits me in the face when I see all the hate she gets.

Didn't Aubry dump Berry right after "The Many Mistresses of Tiger Woods" played on every bit of available social media for many days straight, and didn't Aubrey say he felt that it would be unfair to Halle if he saw other women behind her back, thus implying he was no longer into her but he wasn't going to be the next pos cheater held up for public consumption? My point is that Halle's much harped upon craziness is not the reason he left. I thought their breakup was an amiable one where she paid his way and for his time so that he could be with Nahla whenever she went on location. I know that Berry was upset with his Kim Kardashian date (wouldn't you be? Just the fact of all the reality tv cameras following that famewhore around and possibly filming your daughter, not to mention Kim Kardashian as Daddy's new girlfriend?). Didn't Aubrey go to the tabloids first with the "information" that Berry was more interested in dating than in Nahla and wasn't he suing for full custody AND palimony at that time? I don't know which came first - the Kim date and Berry's wrath or Aubrey's attempt to get full custody of Nahla (if that even happened), but I agree with the previous poster who said that they are both train wrecks. Anyway, Nahla always seems (or seemed) happy with her Mom in the pap pics I've seen.

I lost all interest in Halle when her insane, vindictive personality became so apparent and this latest debacle is most certainly her doing. I don't care how pretty she used to be, the woman always attracts trouble and constant negativity and I will never watch another one of her movies again. Not even for free! Team Gabriel.

You make so e good points, but with Halle it's hard to know what's really true. It certainly does not bode well for Gabriel in any case. I just hope that Nahla didn't see that. How traumatizing for a girl to see her father fighting, arrested , in the ER.

According to her it was dozens of women, I think he claimed just one. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

So because he calls his buddies at Radar Online to take pics of him with his daughter that makes him a good father? How about not getting into fights with mommy's boyfriend. It takes two and he instigates just as much as she does.

I don't think Gabriel should be seen as innocent simply because he's "trying" to be a father. Why should she be grateful for that? He is a father and his role IS to be a father, rather than trying to be vengeful, spiteful gold digger by going after her money.

Oliver is looking old as fuck. Did he go to the salon and request "The Donald"? I guess putting up with a crazy lady always on a mission to wreck someone's life will take a toll on a person.

My daughter's father is just like Helle. The solution I found was to inform him every time we exchanged custody was that I was recording this conversation. You carry a digital recorder and document the entire exchange,like clockwork. It's tedious as hell but if shit ever goes down you have it all documented. After about a year of doing that he finally decided to start acting like a normal human being. It's civil for all parties involved now, thank GOD!!!

My daughter's dad abandoned her without a glance back.
