I went to High School with Helen Slater. We both went to the School of Performing Arts (the Fame school) back in the 80s. She was a junior, I, a freshman. I might have seen her once or twice.

She was already getting acting jobs while in high school, but I remember she was bitchy.

She was hot in the 80s, but she fell off. But SuperGirl was a stupid movie. The movie she did with a kid Christian Slater is better. I don't know why. Maybe her bitchiness turned people off.

I always get Helen Slater confused with Kristy Swanson. Turns out they were born four days apart (different years.)
I always thought unrelated people sharing the same (or a close) birthday behaved similarly and sometimes looked similar.
