Whamo - Eat good pasta. I've found splurging $1-$2 more on a package makes all the difference. Both the hubby and I grew up with the cheap generic pasta. After picking up one of the nicer imported types, we won't go back. Yes, it's fattier. Just eat a salad and you'll be fine. ☺

I am tall, but I was tall and fat. LOL With the celiac disease, I had a lot of inflammation and weight came off everywhere. It's kind of weird because for the first time in my life I'm boney. Between the weight loss and the working out my body is really different.

@ Reason....Lindsay!? Come on,you have to give me some credit to pull one better than Linds, yee of little faith. Now if I could pull off a Gwen heck I'd show up at 5 and be the last one to leave which would probably be 5am, she throws (we threw) some excellent parties!

Yes she is, I heard this interesting interview with an investigative reporter that tracked her down after she'd disappeared" for 5 years. She might have moved since then. It was February of this year when she interviewed her.

WR- it's just supposed to be healthier then regular pasta. I don't eat any pasta anymore since the whole celiac diagnosis. I could get the gluten free, but I've lost about 50 pounds and I don't want to gain it back by adding back in all kinds of high carb foods.

I *might* train a little bit more since I'm on break, but only because I'm already getting bored. LOL

@ Ms Fury.....no my office is very small, there are only 9 of us and I've been with them for 6 years now and we've never had a company doo. At my old company I actually did hook up with our secretary one year, it was a weird Monday to say the least lol. I told myself I would never hook up with anyone I work with again.

Whatmo (typo and it stays): if you are looking for slightly healthier pasta, Barilla Plus, if you have that in Canadaland. The description sounds gross (it has flaxseeds and beans in it), but it tastes just like regular pasta.

Oh yeah, LouiseB, that stuff's good! I can't tell it's different, but warning Whatmo (!), my husband could tell the difference. He asked "what kind of spaghetti is this?" I said, "oh, um, the usual...."

IF, well the combination obviously worked for you. What a charming scene that sounds like with everyone on the bed, ha! After a big night and preparing all day, it should be law that you get to sleep in all day Sunday!

I'm good, preparing for some changes in the new year. It's all for naught though because we only have three and a half days left now, so who cares! ;p

Wheezy, they sell Ivory Bodywash here at Walmart, even Dollar General. That stuff is the BOMB. Lasts forever, smells great and is like $ 2.50 a bottle.

WR, the monkeys at the LA Zoo do fling poop at each other and if you heckle them they have been known to fling poo at you! I saw a little kid get zapped! Yes it was funny but GROSS!

A soap I use in the winter (when my skin is prone to dryness), which smells very similar to Ivory, is the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar. The smell doesn't seem to persist on your skin like the smell of Ivory, though.
