Open Post: Hosted By Justin Theroux In Jorts (Again)

While some of your asses are pouring curdled spike egg nog into your ear holes to drown out the sound of your chirruns screaming their tonsils off while playing with their Christmas gifts, childless Jennifer Aniston and childless Justin Theroux are still having a childless vacation in Cabo with Jimmy Kimmel, his piece Molly, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. We can all make fun of Aniston for being bland, basic and so damn tragic that she only flies private, because her Cabbage Patch Kids get nervous flying commercial, but bitch is living the life. When she's not waving at the paps she called, she's doing tequila shots off of Jimmy Kimmel's fupa while Emily Blunt holds her hair back and she can do it without some brat screaming its tonsils off while playing with its Christmas gift. (One good thing about having Cabbage Patch Kids for kids is that they only communicate telepathically and can't speak any words with their plastic anus mouths.)

And if you washed away that black shoe polish in Justin Theroux's hair, took a Magic Eraser to that Land O'Lakes tattoo and burned his black jorts, he'd be a hot piece. And he can't even laugh at her when she buckles her Cabbage Patch Kid in on her private plane, because she's the one paying for this luxury ass Mexican vacation.

Heh - Theroux's back looks like one of those tooled tan Mexican leather purses my tia used to carry around in the crook of her elbow. He must have bought one from Olvera Street so the tattoo artist would know what he wanted. Edgy.

I'm enjoying reading some of the reviews from friends. A FB friend whose opinion I trust thought Huge & the young boy who played Marius, Eddie Redmyane, were fabulous in every way, acting/singing etc & both Oscar worthy but AH and RC were...meh..in the singing department; and apparently AH's screen time is relatively small?

If you read this FB friend, thank you in advance for letting me plagiarize your post :P

I'm heartbroken to report that she died yesterday afternoon. However I find comfort knowing she's finally pain-free and at peace...and that there are such wonderful people here. Thank you all so very, very much.

princesspoppy -- yes, a medicine can definitely make you batshit crazy. I take an anti-psychotic and anti-anxiety medication for bipolar II disorder, severe depression and severe anxiety; both of them work beautifully for me. Last year my psychiatrist added in another heavy-duty anti-depressant because my depression was escalating for a short period of time. Within 2 weeks of taking this medication I was crying my eyes out, I had suicidal thoughts, my appetite increased threefold, and I thought I was going nuts. I contacted my psychiatrist and I went off of it immediately. Thank god I was at least lucid enough to know what was happening.

Not's not uncommon, if you take a certain dosage for a while that once helped, a few years down the line your body levels it off and it quits working, therefore needing to have your dosage upped.
-------

I guess the way I was thinking of it was like diabetes or something, where you take the medicine for the symptoms but you see the doctor regularly and make life-style changes so that in the future, you can live with out the medicine. Maybe it's the wrong way to look at it, but I'm wondering if he shouldn't be seeing a therapist too, to try to address the depression and anxiety?
________________________________

It wouldn't hurt. A lot of people usually suggest a combonation of both. Just talking out what's going on with your headspace and feelings along with medicial therapy. Also, it doesn't matter if it's anti-anxiety, ssri, or anti-psyhotic medication. Any psychiatric medication, a patient may and usually tend to be build a tolerance toward the medication over time. And may need it up. Stopping abruptly is not good, because it can can other physically harmful damage besides the emotional/mental ones.

also citalopram is the generic name for an antidepressant called Celexa( I didn't like it) and lorazepam is a generic name for an anti-anxiety med called ativan...That shit can be addictive and needs to be moderated closely.

It sounds like you need to get him to open up to a medical professional to get to the bottom of things Good luck.

Is it an anti-depressant, or an anti-anxiety drug? What you're saying makes it sound like the latter. Most people develop tolerances to benzodiazepines rather quickly, so they have to up the dosage to get the same effect. The problem is that you develop a (usually) minor physical addiction, so you can't stop them abruptly. You have to taper the dosage slowly.

He's taking lorazepam and citalopram. I'm not sure which is which. I definiately don't want him to stop!!

They've been slowly increasing the dosage. He seems to need more to feel OK. How important is it that he talks to a shrink while on the pills? He's only seen one a couple of times and it's the psychiatric nurse who keeps his scripts filled.

Some of them have very severe withdrawal symptoms. I took Zoloft about 10+ years ago and if I missed a day I had very bad mood swings, two days I was a mess. When I went off of them, it was a bad time, physically and mentally.

I see. Yes, it's like that. It really pisses him off when he's going on a tirade and I'm asking if he's taken his pills. Like him asking if I'm PMSing after he's pissed me off. lol

ETA: To clarify, when I went off them completely I had bad withdrawal symptoms for about 3 weeks. After that, I was fine. I don't take any medication for anything now.

If he's been on them for 2 years and just starting to act this way, I don't think it's the anti-depressants. Do you think he might be mixing it with something that is interfering or causing an adverse reaction with the ANTI-D?
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Yeah, I guess the question is did he just start acting this way, or am I just now noticing how bad it is? If he misses two days of pills, he has a monster temper. Like to the point where he starts to get irate about something and I'm wondering if he missed his pills because he can't seem to calm himself down.
______________________________________

That's because when you're on those pills you build a dependency on them. When you go off them after taking them for a long time, you get really emotionally unstable/depressed/irritable/etc. Thats why they say don't just quit taking it without a doctor weening you off.
It really is like a withdrawl.

Ps: silly random ass question? I just ordered out(Hopefully I don't yak it up) for dinner because the weather is shitty, and my order was under 30 dollars. I gave the delivery dude a 7 dollar tip. Was I being a cheapo McScroogy pants?

Mike- that sounds very cool. I love things like that. It's too bad Fresh doesn't have more mens scents, because you might like them. Their scents are very unique. They have a seasonal one only available at Sephora called Strawberry Flowers, that despite the name smells very citrusy at first, then when it dries down it smells very much like you've been outdoors in the sun. Sort of like wildflowers, grass, but not sweet at all. I'm doing a shitty job describing it, it's a lot nicer then I am making it sound. LOL

It's awesome! If you're into perfumes (or even just smells), you should check it out if you're in L.A.

It's very relaxed, and the people who work there are nice and really know their stuff. I couldn't decide on one item, but my favorites were one that smells like your skin after a day at the beach, one that smells like cedar driftwood, and one that smells like blood oranges. The one that I liked that was most like a traditional cologne smelled of vetiver, woods, and a little oud.
