I think this whole scenario points to another culprit who has and had a starring role in f*cking up Lindsay Lohan: Her mother. Dina Lohan chose to stay in the relationship and continued to have several more children with her abuser after this photograph was taken. One can only wonder why on earth she would do such a thing. Why not report the abuse to police? She's a white woman living in Long Island, so the police are her friend . . . unless she was also guilty of substance abuse and violent abuse at that time. I am mystified as to why she would bring this up now, and continue to blame Michael Lohan for the problem while taking absolutely no responsibility for her own role in it.

This sh*tshow is getting really hard to watch. I keep wondering when the entire family is going to hit bottom. Losing her celebrity cache and going to jail for stealing things she likely would have been comped if her A-list status was still intact didn't wake Lindsay up; the various fracas involving law enforcement and illegitimate kids (with a new one on the way) has not caused Michael Lohan to shut his maw and come to the realization that yapping to the press is not the most effective way to "save" the only one of his many children he seems to care about; and don't get me started on the most supreme enabler of them all, Dina Lohan, who parties until dawn in nightclubs with her daughter, the one with substance abuse problems who shouldn't be in any establishment that serves alcohol or that provides easy access to drugs.

At first it was bizarre (why is Lindsay Lohan making a sad-teenager album about her crazy parents?), then it was sad (why would Linsday Lohan steal a fur coat from a nightclub when she can buy her own?), and now it's beyond tragic.
