Open Post: Hosted By The Kid Versions Of Celebrities At The Golden Globes
I spent 5 minutes editing these pictures and I'm still not sure what I just saw, but I'll try to explain it to you anyway. Photographer Tricia Messeroux is known for doing kid versions of celebrity moments and her latest mind-bending series features kid versions of some of the celebrities at the Golden Globes. It's the KIDZ Bop remix of the Golden Globes! Tricia gave us a mini George Clooney and Stacy Keibler, a mini Anne Hathaway, a mini Halle Berry, a mini Kerry Washington, a mini Lucy Liu and a mini Taylor Swift (who's almost the same age as the boys the real Taylor Swift dates).
This is so weird and hilarious that it's brilliant. For next year's Golden Globes, all the celebrities should just stay home and send their kid version instead. Kids are naturally drunk and hardly ever make sense, so it'd be just like the real thing but with less drooling and crying.

SANS -- I used to have a sadist dentist when I was a kid who used that water pick type thing. He got my head in a head lock and it hurt like hell; my mouth bled like a mofo each & every time! Now my dentist has a staff of hygienists who are nice & gentle; no problems anymore. Anyone dismissive of your comfort isn't worth going to.

Foxxy -- you know who I absolutely could not stand on that show? Lauren Holly! I thought she was so funny-looking on that show (she aged so badly), and when she looked serious she turned down the corners of her mouth and she looked absolutely ridiculous, like a trout! Plus she was a horrible actress to boot, and that back story that she had a relationship with Gibbs was just silly. That dog was gorgeous -- all doggehs (and kittehs) are!

WR, lastdiva - This was a different dentist at the office I've been going to for quite a while. My previous dentist didn't use the water pick....just the regular old hooked thing. That hurts a bit, but it doesn't hit any nerves so I'm usually OK with it. But the jet is horrible....I have a low tolerance for pain and no tolerance at all when things hit a nerve. I told her for the love of Justin Bieber, please DONT use that mofo next time, and she was like yeah whatever. A little dismissive, considering I was nearly in tears!
Maybe it's time to find a new dentist :/

lol, that dog episode is one of the ones where i find her character most annoying ;-) the dog is gorgeous, tho and i loved the running gag about his name being "jethro" they referred to him again a couple of later episodes, then McGee had to give him away

Foxxy -- when I first started watching NCIS, I saw an episode where Abby used her scientific knowledge to prove that this army dog, a German Shepherd, couldn't have killed his master and she went really out of her way, basically barracading herself in the lab with the dog to prove that. That (she loves animals) and the fact that her parents are dead (like mine) made me feel a lot for her character. Sorry I gave away the DiNozzo back story, but I figured you probably wouldn't watch it. But think of it this way -- you could at least take in the hotness that is Mark -- right? If I were Ziva I'd just be slapping my hands away from him, trying to feel him up at every possible moment. And I guess Pauly Perrette IRL is an animal activist and poor thing had a hell of a time trying to get divorced from her husband (I don't know if she's finally divorced or not). I guess the fucking jerk was stalking her or something. Why does it have to happen to nice people? Why can't it happen to Kim Kardashian or something, right?

@Sans Fards, I know two people who have tried it and both said it was excellent. I'd be too nervous to try it. If she was that aggressive, you should change dentists and ask the next one to document that you have extremely sensitive teeth. @ twatty -- i love Pauly Perrette the person. that character makes me want to throw things on the tv. but at least she's really trained in forensics so is suspect a lot of the stuff that Abby babbles out is more scientifically credible than the junk science that spews out of all the other procedural shows
now that you mention it, i started the Wagner episode and that's the scene that made me change the channel and not watch for a few weeks. yeah i have to find last week on line [tho it would be a little anticlimactic now i guess lol]

I have been reading how it's good for hair. Black cumin seed oil is another miracle oil. I have severe eczema--cleared it up virtually on spot. A lot of people use it in conjuction with the emu.

Michael Weatherly annoys the ever-living fuck out of me, though I've learned to live with him because of my tremendous & undying, unbridled lust for Harmon. I like Cote de Pablo a lot, though; I think she's very cute & likeable.
Withy -- I didn't have a temp, but since I went to the doc yesterday, I ended up going to the urgent care center and they gave me an IV shot of Benadryl; man, that hit me really quickly and it was quite a rush. I felt a little high but then I got sleepy immediately. I've just decided I'm going to rest for the rest of this week and lie low; doctor said it was a virus.

ugh. I went to the dentist today, after a year of not having gone b/c of insurance issues. No cavities (yay) or major problems, but the dentist used the godawful water jet cleaner. GAH. It's like nails on a chalkboard except a billion times worse. On your teeth. I begged and pleaded with her to use the regular picker tool, since I have super sensitive teeth, and she's like "no no honey, too much plaque....hang in there! it'll be over soon!"
Fuck me sideways. I wanted to die. I was sweating bullets and grinding my teeth like there was no tomorrow when she mercifully let me leave the chair. Just 6 more months till I get to experience that again....
Anybody have experience with sedation dentistry? That was absolute hell and I do not relish going through that again any time soon (though my teeth are clean as a whistle).

And yeah, I do watch marathons of it again for the same reason and also because the plots are mind-numbingly easy to follow (another reason all memaws like it). I'm sure a lot of pepaws like it, too. In fact, as I type this, I'm watching a re-run from 2009 and Mark looks particularly delicious.
