Quvenzhané Wallis Brought Poochie's Older Cousin To The Producers Guild Awards

The memories of my childhood exploded into a million glittery pieces when I saw these pictures of Quvenzhané Wallis, the little girl from Beasts of the Southern Wild, carrying a purse that I totally thought was made from the corpse of POOCHIE! Poochie was this really hot and totally gay toy from the 80s and if you still don't know what I'm talking about, watch this educational video.

I know, Quvenzhané's purse looks more like Poochie's older cousin who smokes clove cigarettes and thinks she's hot high-class shit, because she took French for a semester in high school and once made out with an older exchange student from Belgium. But that purse still reminded me of Poochie, so Quvenzhané deserves ALL the awards for that.

Anyway, the Producers Guild Awards happened in L.A. last night and Argo won Outstanding Producer of a Feature Film, Wreck-It-Ralph won Outstanding Producer of Animated Feature, Homeland won Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television Drama, Modern Family won Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television Comedy and Searching For Sugar Man won Outstanding Producer of Documentary Feature. The Producers Guild Awards don't give out awards to actors since it's only for producers, DUH, but Anne Hathaway still stormed the stage, grabbed a trophy and thanked them for breaking the rules by giving her an award for Outstanding Producer of RAW EMOTION in a feature film.

jessica alba... that lipstick shade... is ok for an evening at some miami beach bar, but not for an awards show. the lips and the nails do not go with the dress. im also so over ombre hair.... i think it looks like shit on everyone, especially medium to dark brunettes.

The award ceremony here is really awesome and was memorable by me however the performances of celebrities was really nice specially the way to announce the award ceremony was unforgettable as by me the mention idea is about how to make your self good as personality for these kind of ceremonies for it just have to get a lot ideas linen suit about these from and make your self well than others just get collections of your require choice.Thanks by me and regards

When I went there last year, the city definitely had areas which would be a dream to live in. I've seen ads for a Julia Stiles Hallmark channel movie, for fuck's sake, so I truly don't know why she's at this award show! Isn't Hallmark a step below Lifetime? She did have a brief cameo in Silver Linings Playbook, but I don't see any other Silver Linings people there. Trust me, her role was so minor that the producers wouldn't be like, 'yeah, Julia show attend the show to represent the cast of the movie'. And the last thing I saw Alba in was a phone commercial.

I watched half of Searching for Sugarman last night. It's great, this guy should've been a big star ala Bob Dylan. He was very big in South Africa, his music inspired the protesters of apartheid.

When they were finally able to buy his album (he was only known from a cassette and subsequent rerecordings of that tape) the government outlawed one specific song, actually scratching it out on each album sold.

Rumor had it he'd set himself on fire or shot himself in the head onstage but he was living in Michigan. It's a great story so far and he is very talented.

ETA: I misspelled the little girl's name, it's pronounced Kwah VEN zha nay.
