Hot Slut Of The Day!
Jinkx Monsoon, Seattle's premiere Jewish narcoleptic drag queen and Seattle's youngest MILF from season 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race!
There were a few Hot Sluts on last night's season premiere of the beauty tutorial that every Real Housewife and Lilly from Shahs of Sunset watches for make-up and styling tips. There was Coco Montrese's Sally's Beauty Supply contacts that make her eyes look like that of a lemur with glaucoma and there was the fallen beauty queen Alyssa Edwards who out of drag looks like a cartoon ant inspired by Hugo Weaving, but the lipstick to my liner was the Jewish narcoleptic drag queen Jinkx Monsoon!
Drag Race 5 is still in its newborn drag baby phase (aka early in the season), but Jinkx is already my favorite for 3 reasons:
1. She plays Little Edie during the Snatch Game episode.
2. In a ginger wig, she sort of looks like a young Kathy Griffin on seven kinds of uppers. In a blonde wig, she looks like if one of the Beauty and the Beast bimbos turned to the dark side and started eating souls.
3. She has narcolepsy! One minute, Jinkx Monsoon could be lip synching FOR HER LIFE and the next minute she could be stage sleeping FOR HER LIFE. Anybody who has the same disorder as one of my favorite internet stars Rusty is a true Hot Slut.

I was underwhelmed by the group. Their personalities seemed kind of meh. I don't have a favorite. Penny Tration was the only big girl. It bugs me that Ru seems to like the skinny boys. This is supposed to be about drag.
Detox is my early favorite.
Serena Cha Cha makes me think of To Wong Foo's "little latin boy in drag" line because that bitch is not a queen.
I thought Roxxy was the best looking out of drag, rare that one of them is actually cute and doesn't look like some eyebrowless methhead.
I find these queens bargin basement, unpolished and ghetto. They are not fit to touch the hem of even Shangela's Kmart gown.

That one little twink with the laugh barely looks 18. He might be a major contender. What did RuPaul and the panel say to him? Tone it down or something. They may mommy that boy until the finale.
I was hoping she'd do Edie Monsoon from AbFab. 'Little Edie' makes me think of Saffy, who isn't interesting in the slightest. I hope this season was good. They're trying to hard to stir up drama, like everyone came in there with a chip on their shoulder. Please. Half of them look like horse faced freaks out of drag, seriously. Ugliest batch of men ever.
Eh, this one didn't make much of an impression on me, but she might get the Geri Jewell sympathy vote.

I don't know who you are looking at, but Alyssa Edwards is clearly TONI COLLETTE. So inspired by her Oscar-worthy role in "Connie and Carla" she decided to put her charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to the test!

I watched the first half online this morning and although I don't see a Latrice in the bunch, it looks interesting. I about spewed my coffee when Ru has them do a photoshoot in a water tank and when contestant "Alaska" went under Ru exclaimed "Alaska underwater! Damn you global warming!"
And I just always love the dismissal of the first group of queens with a turn to the side and a "That's all." (yeah I skipped ahead, you can do that online)
