Kunty Karl Finally Shares His Thoughts On Michelle Obama's Bangs

Kunty Karl hates Michelle Obama's bangs.

Kunty Karl's opinion on beauty and style is the only opinion on beauty and style I care about, because a soul sucker with hair like batting from JoAnn's Fabrics KNOWS beauty and style. The French TV show Le Petit Journal had the Forbidden Forest's most beautiful ghoul on to talk about Paris Fashion Week and while he was there they asked him for his thoughts on Michelle Obama's new bangs. Karl is not impressed and said that Michelle Obama now has news anchor hair. via Vanity Fair:

“I don’t understand the change of hair . . . Frankly, the fringe was a bad idea. It’s not good.” He also noted that Mrs. Obama now resembles “une speakerine de LCI,” or an anchor on the French news network LCI. Although Lagerfeld has made unpopular statements about beloved pop-culture figures in the past, the Michelle Obama–bang harangue is especially surprising considering that the designer once identified himself as “a big fan of Mrs. Obama.” Particularly, he specified, a fan of her face. “I think, [it] is magical,” he told Metro World News last February. “[Barack Obama] would not be there without her.” Remarkably, the statement was not the first time Lagerfeld marveled at the First Lady’s visage. In 2011, he told USA Today, “I like her face, the cleverness of her face. Her face is stronger than the clothes.”

QUICK! Everybody, stuff your eatin' hole with mounds of super-processed, corny syrup-filled, fat-summoning deliciousness while Michelle Obama isn't looking. She can't shove raw broccoli pieces down our throats, because she's too busy taking a Flowbee to the bangs that Kunty Karl hates.

I don't particularly admire the Obamas but I cannot understand why people give a rat's ass about the first lady getting bangs. Big deal. First ladies are not public property and should be able to change their hair style as they see fit without the whole world getting in a tizzy.

What scares me is what she isn't telling. If she really wanted to battle obesity she would go after these companies that use these chemicals that are basically killing us slowly. Makes me think that Idiocracy is already happening and the government is being controlled by corporations. Sorry to sound all conspiracy theory but some of the stuff that they put in our food is scary.

The message should be simple fresh fruits, veggies, protein. Eating fucking yogurt or drinking milkshakes ain't gonna make anyone healthier.

I think Michelle's eyebrows are far worse than her bangs bc they make her look like a drag queen so the fact that the bangs cover her brows gets two big thumbs up from me. She's not an unattractive woman and I wish folks could stop being distracted by her style and start paying attention to the economy.

I know what you meant but I do have to interject and say that yogurt is super healthy and on an anecdotal level, I'm convinced it keeps my intestinal tract chugging along nicely. That said, Americans tend to eat sugary yogurt whereas in Turkey where I'm from people eat it plain and in Switzerland were the hubby is from people put in fresh fruit to plain yogurt or eat it with muesli. Unfortunately, here it's loaded with sugary crap so it kind of defeats the purpose.

Why yes, I am obsessive about yogurt, why do you ask? ;)

I might be a little biased since I'm lactose intolerant :). But yeah if it didn't have all that sugar it would be great. It's just most people get lost in the details. Every once in a while eating something is fine but including something that is full of sugar into everyday diet just seems counterproductive.

I'm trying to remember one person over "a certain age" that looks good with full on bangs, man or woman and cannot think of one. Possibly Goldie Hawn, about 45 or less. IMO bangs like this is a very harsh look and a person really needs a soft face to pull it off. Oh the bright side, love her upper arms. I'd be rocking sleeveless all the time if I had arms like that. Still, I don't like her telling anyone what to eat. Whether it's for our own good or not.

I like the fringe. Kunty Karl's getting cranky....time to replenish his virgin blood supply.

I had bangs for a while. I got a lot of compliments on them but they were a pain in the ass to keep straight...I have thick wavy hair and keeping those suckers in line required a lot of time with the straightening iron and a lot of styling product. No bueno.
