Spring Is Coming Early (Or If You're In Southern California, NO CHANGE!)
Here's American legend Punxsutawney Phil making the same face I made the other day at Starbucks when the lady in front of me told her friend that she drinks so much Starbucks that her poops smell like coffee. If you told me you were going to Gobbler's Knob to watch a grown man pull a hairy thing out of a hole, I'd tell you that I've never heard of that glory hole before and I'd grab my favorite knee pads while begging you to take me with you. Gobbler's Knob sounds like a street name in Gold Base, but it's actually Punxsutawney Phil's homeland!
The NYDN says that thousands jammed themselves in Gobbler's Knob early this morning to see if they can put their heating pad thong in storage early. Phil came out of his hole and didn't see his shadow, which means that spring is coming early! But you know, I wouldn't put my heating pad thong away just yet, because look at Phil's face. Phil might be phucking with you. Never trust a side eye-throwing groundhog. Or maybe Phil is throwing a side eye, because he's so over us weird ass humans and our weird ass traditions.

I was there!!!! I'm a groundhog baby and went this year for my birthday. It was a hot mess hilarious celebration. From meeting Phil and the inner circle, to attend one of the most depressingly unironic weddings (they conduct them on site) possible to the birthday celebration they put on for those born on 02/02 in a back room with old ladies handing out bite sized cupcakes, it was a glorious freezing cold day for all.

When they opened my skull (making the cranial plate) they closed it and used titanium screws to hold it in place until the bone grew back together. The Nurses are the best. They scheduled the next surgery consult for me when I was there. They watched everything and told the Docs I can't wait. A patient could never talk to a surgeon like that. Nurses rule.

@ Within -- TTSS is awesome, i watched last weekend! yeah they were all great, sorry i said a week or so ago that i'd hit Bernard "Cummerbund" with a shovel ;-)
Boner is athletic, caught a nice pass and was the main receiving target when he was in the game. the Vampire Diaries couple played, Jesse Williams [pantpantpantpant], Ms. CCrawford, Snoop Lion, Lil Wayne, Anthony Anderson, somebody from Friday Night Lights, Maria Menaous-whozit, other entertainment luminaries of that ilk. also olympic, nfl, nba athletes current and retired. among others Tom Arnold was one of the ones who kept the bench from floating away during the game.
