Nicole Richie? Special Treatment? You Don't Say!

 

Paris Hilton got her license suspended when she was caught driving under the influence. Nicole Richie was also busted for  DUI after she was found going the wrong way on the highway back in December. This was her second DUI charge. So why is she STILL driving around with a valid drivers license?

 

TMZ got to the bottom of things and nobody seems to know why. The Deputy DA assigned to Nicole's case said that he was surprised as well, but he said until she's conviced of DUI the decision to suspend or revoke her license is up to the DMV. He went on to say, "They generally do it quicker than this."

 

TMZ contacted the DMV and they said, "I have no idea why Nicole still has her license."

 

AHAHA! I'm sure there's some sort of explanation, but it's so like the DMV to give that response. They never know anything! I hate going to that dungeon of HELL where nobody ever look hot! The lighting and atmosphere sucks any beauty you had in your body.
