Bought By A Hilton?

 

Paris Hilton's grandfather gave Sheriff Lee Baca (above) the maximum amount of campaign contribution, $1,000, last year. Baca received a lot of shit when he let Paris serve the rest of her sentence at home with an electronic anklet due to some mysterious "medical condition."

 

He has defended his decision. He said, "In my opinion, justice is being served by the decision to have her serve her time at home. She would still be in the county jail if it were not for the medical advice. My message to those who don't like celebrities is that punishing celebrities more than the average American is not justice. Justice is being served by the decision to have her serve her time at home."

 

He has not yet responded to the judge overturning his decision.

 

Sheriff Baca is also a Scientologist. This explains everything. I blame Tom Cruise.
