Sir Salman Rushdie has confirmed that his 3-year marriage to Padma Lakshmi is over and he's filing for divorce. Padma is the host of Bravo's Top Chef and she's a former model.

 

His spokeswhore said, "Salman Rushdie has agreed to divorce his wife, Padma Lakshmi, because of her desire to end their marriage."

 

Divorce rumors started last week when Padma was seen flirting with men at a club.

 

Salman received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth two weeks ago which angered many Muslims. They hate his ass for his novel "The Satanic Verses."
