Mariane Pearl has filed a lawsuit against al Qaeda and other groups for the death of her husband in 2002. She seeks an unspecified amount to prevent these groups from committing similiar acts.

 

Her lawsuit states, "Plaintiffs seek to hold responsible those terrorists, terrorist organizations and the supporting charitable and banking organizations for the senseless kidnapping, torture and murder of Daniel Pearl."

 

The lawsuit also names Habib Bank Limited for knowingly conducting financial transactions on behalf of the groups. 

 

Mariane was recently played by Angelina Jolie on the big-screen in "A Mighty Heart."

 

Wow. I would've never guessed that would be possible. Homegirl better watch her ass. Those crazy asses don't eff around. It's actually a very smart and very brave move.
