Molly Shannon Is Kath In Kath & Kim

 

The American version of the hit Australian comedy "Kath & Kim" has found its Kath! Molly Shannon will play Kath in the comedy pilot for NBC. The show is about the dysfunctional relationship between a mother and daughter. Molly wil play the mother.

 

The original show stars Jane Turner as Kath and Gina Riley as Kim. The two will also serve as executive producers on the American version. The search for Kim is still on.

 

If you haven't seen this show, you must! It comes on the Sundance channel here in the states and it's honestly of my favorite TV shows ever! Jane and Gina are hysterical.

 

You know Molly makes sense, but she would make a lot more sense as Kim not Kath. Hollywood will eff this up royally I'm sure.
