All My Children Introduces the First Tranny Character

Erica Kane and company will welcome the first tranny character to daytime television when Zarf is introduced. Jeffrey Carlson plays Zarf, a rocker who is making the transition from male to female. He/She's storyline begins this Thursday.

The show's executive producer said, "After 36 years, you start rehashing. It's inevitable. We didn't want to fall back on the baby-switch story again."

Zarf will share an on-screen kiss with Bianca, Erica's daughter.

The tranny totally looks like Sandra Bernard! They should've gotten her!
