Nick Hogan Gets 8 Months In County Jail

Nick Bollea aka Nick Hogan was sentenced to 8 months in county jail starting immediately. 17-year-old Nick pleaded "no contest" on charges of felony reckless driving. The charges stem from a car crash last August which left his passenger and friend, John Graziano, with serious brain injuries. Nick was racing another car at speeds up to 100mph when his car hit a palm tree. A few hours later, booze was found in his bloodstream.

John will most likely spend the rest of his life in a nursing home.

The judge also suspended his drivers license for 3 years. He was also given 5 years probation, 500 hours of community service and he cannot drink during his probation. He will have to complete a booze education program within the year.

The judge heard statements from the Graziano family as well as the Bollea family. Brooke's stupid ass got up there looking like a call girl on her lunch break, crying about how "this is why she hates being a celebrity." It's all about her!

Before being sentenced, Nick told the judge, "I'll never, ever be able to tell John 'sorry' enough times to make up for what happened on Aug. 26. I loved John to death. He was like my oldest brother and my best friend. I'm ready to take my punishment."

I hope he's ready to take big cock too, because that's what he's going to have to do in jail. If you ask me, this dumb whore got off easy.

For those of you who say that Bollea's life will never be the same again, he's remorseful, this will be held against him forever, blah, blah, blah...I have one two words for you: Ted Kennedy. Perhaps if Graziano eventually dies of his injuries Bollea can become a Senator.

yup, I'd say the "inmates" are gonna make a sausage sizzle outta this lil hunk - and he'll be reaching for the Prep H for many a month to come.
I'd imagine some money changed hands, as he got off really lightly.

I just read a court doc that said John Graziano was not wearing a seatbelt...Hmm...perhaps if he had been he wouldn't be in the state he's in.

I'm just saying...
---------------------

At least in New Jersey where I am from, it is illegal to ride in the front of a car without a seatbelt. It's legal to not wear one in the backseat. I dunno what the laws of that state are.

But yeah, if that is the case, John is partially responsible, but I still think that Nick Hogan is largely to blame.

But honestly, Nick's not paying for shit. His parents are. And maybe they should, since they raised such a moron. Regardless, I doubt a penny is coming out of that kid's pocket. Maybe he won't get a new car for Xmas. That's about it.

Well thats where we are gonna disagree. I believe they're both responsible equally. No more no less. I tend to put more blame on the adult which was John in this case. However yeah, he is paying for his choices that night and so will Nick.

In reading back over the history of this case, I can't see any talk of John Graziano drinking that day. There were accusations from his family that Hulk Hogan actually bought the alcohol that Nick drank. There was also a statement from the Hogan's about how they are praying for John and (as a kind of jab at him and to take some heat off Nick, I assume)that they hope this brings attention to the need of people to wear seatbelts. I am assuming there is/was a suspicion or determination that John wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Completely stupid, if it's true.

I also found out that John has recently returned from Iraq before the accident. I also don't know the reason they were friends, considering the age difference. But, I can't put them down for that. They may have lived close or had some people in common that they knew that were between their ages.

RedHotz's picture

These things have been proven as fact in court papers that were filed in Florida. Nick's family continues to pay John's medical bills, a condo for John's mother, John's brother college tuition, John's mother's father funeral expenses and other bills they have had presented to them. The only bill they have now refused to pay are those of John's father. This is due to the fact of the restraining order that John's mom had to take out against him and the bad blood between him and the families.
Even in the case today his sister talked about when John was in the Marines John sending his check home to support his family. John had not seen his father in years and that was who Brooke was referring to in her statement about who John had talked her about and who should be ashamed.

I respect the laws of where ever you are from, because I did study in the UK and personally I think people should be able to drink at 18.

However, the laws here are different. You have be 21, for better or for worse. You go to college when you're around the age of 18 here, so it's a common occurrence to be partying with people who are younger or older than you.

There's no proof John was even drinking, and it apparently is true that the Hogans bought Nick the alcohol. Even if John was drinking with Nick, it's really not that far off from what happens here everyday.

I blame that douche bag Nick entirely, with some blame going out to his parents for raising such a douche.

I don't care what anybody has to say about John Graziano being partially responsible for his injuries or whatever.

The point is this: no matter what that man's faults were, he does not deserve to have his total quality of his life taken away from him by a stupid, punk-ass 17 year old celebretard, who has had everything in this life handed to him by his idiot parents.

John Graziano is a man who had the courage to do what many of us didn't: serve in the military overseas. He was a decorated soldier with his own life ahead of him.

Nick Hogan is a piece of shit. His multiple speeding tickets, his license plate (apparently it was an acronym for something having to do with avoiding the cops), and his behavior in the hospital all demonstrate that this kid is a douche who is at fault.

kathleen.tamara's picture

LA- I do not agree that they are equally responsible, because Nick was the one who was actually behind the wheel.

BUT, even if they were both equally responsible for the reckless/drunk driving, that does not make Nick's behavior any more acceptable. He put a lot of people other than John at risk . Whether his friend was complicit in that or not, it does not change the fact that Nick's decision was hugely irresponsible in general.

Please, like anybody here hasn't drank with a minor. Never in college? Not when you were 22 and your friend was 20?

While it may have been a stupid move on John Graziano's part to drink with a 17 year old, it doesn't change the fact that the one stupid thing he did is completely disproportionate to the life he has to lead now. He is bedridden, needs constant care, and has lost almost all of his function.

In the battle of stupidity, Nick Hogan beat John Graziano hands down, no contest.

Well...Like I said before, I don't live in America and our laws are different here. Where I'm from the legal drinking age is 18...So I can in all honesty say that I have never drank with a minor.

Now drinking while I was a minor...different story. I would, however never buy alcohol for a minor...especially not my child (HULKSTER!)

I kinda think John and Nick and Hulk are equally stupid.

I have read ZERO about John drinking.

The wreck was due to a twat 16 year old, driving a race car way too fast and losing control.

The Hogans are slime, but John's parents are not saints...they are both now fighting each other for custody (graziano is completely comotose i.e. dependant) of him...think that has anything to do with the lawsuits? The cash that is going to be coming in for John's care??

The ONLY victim here is John Graziano.

For some odd reason, I cant help but feel sorry for both parties involved. I was in a major car accident with a friend in the passenger seat. Lucky for me she only broke her jaw and I didnt turn her into a vegetable. I didnt have a license or insurance. There is not a day that goes by that I dont think of this accident and how lucky we were.

I just hope the Hogan's help the other family and do what right :(

I definitely agree that the victim is partly responsible for poor decisions, but ultimately, the driver of the vehicle is the one who was drunk and driving and racing, therefore the driver should hold more responsibility. The victim will be paying for his actions for the rest of his life. The driver will have paid his debt to society by the Fourth of July. See the difference?

I hope his hole gets pounded every night for 8 months. These people are disgusting. Accusing the victim is a common court tactic, though sometimes effective it usually just makes the the accused look bad.

I bet he can't make it a year without violating that probation! And they will send his ass back to jail.
