He changes his look and style frequently and this is a more recent one, he looked very much like a man and normal by your standards so for those of you saying he relies on his look for popularity, think again. About copying Weezer,you guys also act like there's no artist who has ever taken a melody from a old song and has incorporated it into their own song.
Seems like all you people are doing is repeating each other. Not to mention he's good to his fans, even if you say "he's just faking it to look good" At least he makes them feel appreciated which is more than I could say for most celebrities who don't and all they do is complain about what a hassle it is when a fan of theirs,you know, tries to talk to the person they're a fan of. Go listen to you sex exploiting pop/hiphop artist, idiotic rappers, oh so emo boy bands, incoherent metalhead screamo trash, and your 10 a penny garage type bands, better yet do what other morons are doing and go with the latest fad and support someone like Jeffree Star or Soulja Boy who only has enough skill to make a song with the same 5 words sang in repetition.

By the way, Miyavi is hot but for not reason should he ever be called a slut.

I saw her profile on millionaire&celeb dating site ----"AffluentBachelors.com" ----last week. It is said she is dating young billionaire on that site.

Comparing Mana to Miyavi is like comparing apple to oranges...

that video wasn't so good but i've heard some of his other stuff which can be a lot better. he changes his type of sound frequently. he's popularized for being a guitar virtuoso, but you can't really tell from his later stuff, since i think people these days are done with the guitar solo. though in my heart, i'd love to hear slash or joe perry or whoever wail all day. ;)

gah i miss stadium anthems with their multiple neverending guitar solos, with the cigarette lighters waving in unison and the smell of pot and burning hair wafting throughout an overcrowded venue. i really do miss it.

The video is mesmerizing crap. And if you are a 14 year old from anywhere between Atlanta and Tokyo and you happen to see it, you might think he's cool enough to spend some money on the music which is what "they" are after.

But that Miasma or whatever his name is clearly is a talented musician and loves his instrument. When I see a musician who loves what he is doing, I am with him/her. (I'm not talking about the vid here now, I followed a link and saw some of his other stuff). On the other hand, I like him much better when he plays and keeps his mouth shut.

And that wart thing on his mouth is distracting.

No, he sucks. I lived in Japan and speak Japanese. When I lived there, I knew some very good pro musicians and lyricists and a preeminent concert fashion designer. This guy's sound and even his look are tired and derivative.

I lived in Tokyo for a short time during a study abroad trip. I went to a rock show one night. It was pretty normal until a Visual Kei (a style similar to Miyavi's) band came on. All the horny douches in our group kept saying things like how they were sexy and how they'd hit those chicks. I laughed my ass off when they found out they were dudes. Of course, it would have been funnier if they found out at about 3rd base.
