nick was saying he wants a show that follows a "celebrity" leaving jail and resuming life. terry said nick should work with him "because you know I won't screw you". nick was eager for production to begin asap.

it was sickening to hear nick casually (and remorselessly) talking about all he was going through in light of what john and his family are enduring. even the humor of nick referring to himself as a celebrity didn't help.

nancy grace played the tape on her show. I watched just to see this. she nearly had an aneurism listening to it. I hope terry or nick decides to let her interview him.

nick should be grateful to only be in the county jail. a lot of people there are not violent and don't want any time added to their sentences. however there will be people on their way to prison who are violent and are looking at so much time more hardly matters. he may be able to avoid them but he is on his own as he and his family have gone out of their way to irritate the court, the guards, and everyone in jail with him. there are people there who have put no one in a coma yet are facing harsher punishment than nick who repeatedly flaunted the law and endangered everyone on the road by driving 100 mph. I imagine they have heard all about nick's phone calls complaining over conditions a lot of them wish they had!

after this family's antics I refuse to call them "hogan". I don't know any one with that name but these people should befoul only their own name, not someone else's.

Did anyone hear the tape where they were talking about Nick's new reality show? Except you couldn't tell because they were talking in their own code, which used words that only made sense to them. Which means they knew that there was a possibility of their tapes being broadcast. This is just all getting so ridiculous.

Actually the voting rights of prisoners or ex cons varies from state to state. Here is the theory on who gets to vote: It is usually the south where you can't. That means the south mostly. (Florida)

I heard an anecdotal story from a hippy friend : he was down south, in Dallas, the day before the 2000 election, and in a bad neighborhood (black neighborhood.) He said the cops basically rounded up everyone they could. When he got to jail it was packed. Full to the brink. And guess what race the majority of the people were? He was the only white guy on his block. The rest were black or Mexican.

And these are the Hillbillies who wave that flag high and claim that America is the home of the free. That idea of free is bullshit. Don't get me wrong though, i'm all for America. I like being able to say whatever I want.

How many of you heard that tape where Hulkster and Mom basically wrote off his comatose friend's injuries as God getting back at him? His mom said that the other guy's mom needed to get over it. What to say. This white trash family is horrible. I do believe it was an accident and I don't think anyone would do something that would have those results on purpose. But the fact is he was drinking underage and was racing his car (something he has a record of doing). The thing that shocks me is that the Hulk (ass) is not in jail after the pictures from that day show him on a boat with his son and friends drinking. Great way to be a father. Give your kid beer and a car. But the most important thing is that his friend and passenger will never be the same and his family suffers with the result of his actions.

Terry and Linda Hogan are TERRIBLE parents. I think the reality show only caught a glimpse of their truly warped personalities and parenting skills. For all his brawn and wrestling ring bravado you'd think Terry Hogan would tell his son to man up and take responsibility for his actions instead of blaming the victim. And Linda Hogan should have an OUNCE of respect and sympathy for a mother whose child is laying in a vegetative state instead of crying about her pain over her stupid son spending 8 months in jail. What a bunch of sociopaths! I for one will boycot any network or product that engages any of the Hogans in any way, shape or form.

Oh by the way, once you get out of jail you can't vote either...well, that's what happened in Florida in 2004 (and 2000 when I think about it), they made up this rule (or it was always on the books and never followed) that people who USED to be in jail couldn't vote. So if you think people in jail shouldn't vote, well good for you, because when they get out they can't fucking vote either (in some states not all!)

Im assuming you didnt think that through before you said it. Ive been to jail for drug offenses. Im now a tax-paying contributing member of society, to give myself some credit. With what logic should I have lost ALL rights while in jail???? Thats insane.

Belive me, jail as it is is pretty punishing. As an american, I FELT like I had no rights in jail. But I did. They fed me and drove me to court and let me use the phone and would step in if there was a fight. Most of jail just feels like waiting. Kinda like being locked in a public toilet with a lot of loud and stupid people with mental problems. Not fun.

Prisoners have NO right to privacy. They also have no right to vote or the right to make minimum wage (which is why they make 30 cents/hours). The only thing remotely private that prisoner's have, is their communications with legal counsel. Trust me, I'm legal counsel.
