Sex On The Beach
The "10-year-old girl from 1986" in me screamed a little when I first saw this NKOTB video for their new single "Summertime." Okay, okay. I am a 10-year-old girl from 1986. What's your point?
My only complaint is that the the rest of them needed to follow Joey McIntyre's lead and get completely topless. And yes, this shit is total cheese, but it's their first video in 45 years or something. As you can tell from their dance skills, it's been a while.

BTW, the song is decent, the video looks like a student project.

To those that constantly bash people for being "old" and "has beens" etc. Everyone ages folks- fact of life! For those of you too young to realize how fleeting beauty and youth is, I am here to tell you- 22 today, 42 tomorrow and you don't even know how you got there or that that much time has flown by in an instant... I still go to concerts (in fact Foo Fighters is a summer destination for me) I still go to night clubs and dance.

Also, just because people become a certain age, does not automatically mean they cannot be on stage, doing music (even if is does suck there are some who like it) pleasing the fans that they used to have? Look, I am 42 and it sucks. What sucks even more is that there are younger folks out there who constantly have to remind us that if you are over 35 your life is basically ready for an old folks home. Fortunately due to good genetics, I don't look 42 and I get by with doing things and dressing a lot younger. My point, I just hate to think that because people reach a certain age that they have to wear stretch pants, listen to soft rock, wear naturalizer shoes and start to read Prevention magazine. I still go to concerts (in fact Foo Fighters is a summer destination for me) I still go to night clubs and dance. I wear clothes that maybe some over 40 might not wear, but I will be damned if I am going to give up the things in life that I enjoy just because I am older. I can't help getting older and to those who are way younger than I, you will be in my shoes one day and then you will be saying the same thing. Sorry for the tirade, but I am having a bad day and I guess I am sensitive to the age issue today! Peace out!
