Say It Ain't So!
Worst news ever. Over the past few months, there's been a few stories about Paul Newman fighting cancer. Last March, he denied the claims. The L.A. Times' Dish Rag now reports that 83-year-old Paul has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Paul is a known former chain-smoker.
Paul is reportedly receiving outpatient treatment at the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
There's been no confirmation from the hospital or Paul's people.
Not Paul! Who's going to make us delicious lemonade? Let's just choose to believe this is an awful rumor. We should all think good thoughts over a huge bowl of Newman's Own popcorn.
UPDATE: Paul's rep told E! that the story is "not true." I believe him. Paul Newman cannot tell a lie.

Paul there are so many reasons to love you. You are a great actor, humanitarian, husband. You care about others than your self and you are sexy ass hell. What is even more astounding is to find all of these attributes in someone that is famous. Famous people are usually egotistical and self absorbed.

Rep Shoots Down Paul Newman Cancer Reports

Paul Newman is not at death's door, thank you very much.
The Hollywood icon's agent, Toni Howard, tells E! News a slew of gossip reports claiming Newman was terminally ill with lung cancer are "not true."
The reports began in earnest late last month, when Newman backed out as director of Our Town at the playhouse in his hometown of Westport, Conn., citing an unspecified illness.
Several tabloids pounced on the news as evidence of a dire condition. Subsequent photos of a seemingly gaunt-looking Newman at a recent charity event, posted last Friday on Martha Stewart's blog, has added fuel to the speculation, which was even picked up by the Los Angeles Times' gossip blog.
The 83-year-old Oscar winner announced last year that he was ending his acting career after 50 years.
