Battle At The Box Office: Jolie VS Aniston

I have to hand it to the movie executives that came up with this shit. Genius! They should get a complimentary footjob and Jamba Juice. Anyway, UsWeekly reports that Angie Jo and Jennifer Aniston will whip out their dicks and battle it out on October 24th. Both of these bitches have movies coming out on the same day. Angie's "The Changeling" will be out in limited release the same day Jenny's "He's Not That Into You: The Jennifer Aniston Story" comes out. Okay, I totally fucked with the title of Jenny's movie. But you know that was the working title!

Brandon Gray of Box Office Mojo thinks Jenny's going to win the battle, "Aniston is more relatable to moviegoers and can star in these romantic comedies or dramas more successfully than Jolie. Angelina has tried to have variety in her career, but time and time again, she goes back to these vixen or bad girl roles. She's had some success in those, but when she's strayed from it, she's flopped." Brandon meet the wrath of the Brangaloonies. Have fun!

Fuck both of these twats! Let's go support our main homegirl, Zac Efron, in High School Musical 3 instead. That buttfuck fiesta comes out on the same day.

Open Water scared me, just because it was real. I'm terrified of sharks (Thanks Shark Week and Discovery Channel) and I KNOW that I'm going to die in water.

Hence, I avoid the ocean by all means possible.

Stock Brokerlina, Vasquez! The hot, butch marine with BIGGER guns than most of the guys in "Aliens". Played by the fascinating Jeanette Goldstein.

She was a hot psychobitch in Near Dark. That's another classic scary movie. Say, Bill Paxton was it that, too. So was the guy that played Ash in "Aliens" (Lance Henricksen).

Another Bill Paxton gem: "Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen!"

tonicbitch, yes, I knew that, sweets. That whole, "Based on, Inspired by, Loose slipknotted and slipped on a banana peel but farted and fell and wrote a story around it" stuff cracks me up though. :)

Stock Broker, I think I love you. It's an Aliens thing. Really. lol

DeeDee, I watched that one too. I gave it three stars on Netflix (and I'm a pretty stingy star giver so that was good). :)

Open Water!

Now THAT was scary.

Stoney, I agree. The end was especially haunting. If I remember correctly there wasn't any graphic gore either. Just merciless water with no rescue or land in sight and it's so easy to put yourself in their place as the characters develop and the sheer hopelessness as the fight for survival becomes a futile, ebbing sad tragedy.

Thanks for the critique for "The Strangers".

Green Is Good, but then you'll miss out on the gratuitous use of sound FX to try and 'startle' you. It works for like the first 3 times and then it just makes you laugh because you know the director is just yanking your chain. The ending was goofy as all git out but I won't post any spoilers.

I think I'm the only person in the world who hated "Clockwork Orange." I kept looking at the clock thinking, "when is this shit over?" The first 30 minutes or so of the movie was cool and then it became tedious. Not a Stanley Kubrick fan at all.

The Strangers sucked. Did anyone else see it? Did you like it?

Little China Doll, I did and I agree. I laughed through the whole thing but three days later when my power went out in my house the movie replayed in my mind and scared the living crap out of me. The premise of course, being that killing doesn't need a reason or a motive. You're there and they have the weapons. UGH

So it looks like Jen's wax figure got her old nose. And Angelina's got her leathery, botoxed skin. Good job to whoever made them.

I will, however, see both movies when they come out on DVD...scratch that - when they come on cable. Neither one can act, but the supporting cast in both films make me think they are salvageable movies.
