Battle At The Box Office: Jolie VS Aniston
I have to hand it to the movie executives that came up with this shit. Genius! They should get a complimentary footjob and Jamba Juice. Anyway, UsWeekly reports that Angie Jo and Jennifer Aniston will whip out their dicks and battle it out on October 24th. Both of these bitches have movies coming out on the same day. Angie's "The Changeling" will be out in limited release the same day Jenny's "He's Not That Into You: The Jennifer Aniston Story" comes out. Okay, I totally fucked with the title of Jenny's movie. But you know that was the working title!
Brandon Gray of Box Office Mojo thinks Jenny's going to win the battle, "Aniston is more relatable to moviegoers and can star in these romantic comedies or dramas more successfully than Jolie. Angelina has tried to have variety in her career, but time and time again, she goes back to these vixen or bad girl roles. She's had some success in those, but when she's strayed from it, she's flopped." Brandon meet the wrath of the Brangaloonies. Have fun!
Fuck both of these twats! Let's go support our main homegirl, Zac Efron, in High School Musical 3 instead. That buttfuck fiesta comes out on the same day.

Uh, Jacob's Ladder, a mind fuck and a half!

I agree, I had to watch it more than once to figure out what the fuck was going on!

" Do you know I once interviewed Nicky [Hilton]? “I asked her a question about her handbag line. She actually had to look to the side to find out if she even had one." - Jules Asner
These wax figures are pitiful. Are they supposed to be Disney animatronics?
On the off topic topic:
Not really a typical slasher/horror movie but "Alien" was pretty effing scary to me and "Aliens" wasn't a shabby sequel. "Jaws" was good but the sequels sucked total poo. 28 weeks later wasn't a bad sequel to 28 days (in fact imho it was almostttttt better).
The song/lullaby Mia Farrow sings to her devil child in the beginning and end credits of "Rosemary's Baby" still creeps me out every time I hear it.
The movie "The sixth sense" was more sad than scary. "The Devil's Rejects" was disturbing on too many levels. "High Tension" was a total skull f*ck (literally and figuratively). "Helter Skelter" is too real. WAY TOO REAL. "Scream" was shocking because they killed off the star of the movie right from the getgo but the storline got pretty cheesy towards the end.
I could rant on scary movies until the cows come home but I'll spare the readers of this website. lol
Green Is Good,
Oh don't get me started on I Am Legend. Icon of horror fiction and Hollywood butchered it...oh, i just got myself started on I Am Legend didn't i...

GIG,
There is no good time to read "The Haunting of Hill House"...cuz as soon as the lights go out, that shit creeps back in your head!!!
As far as CLoverfield, no, that one made me sick just see the promo on TV.
---------------------------------------------------
There's also "Hell house" written by Richard Matheson. He's the same guy that wrote "I am Legend".

Somehow, I found the book of the shining much scarier than the movie, maybe because King painted such a visual picture of being stuck up in bumfuck, cut off from everyone, for an entire brutal winter.

Pick any of these movies at random and it will still be better than EITHER ONE of their movies. Except Cloverfield, that was shit (IMO).

I think HJNIY will do quite well. It also stars Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Connelly, and Ben Afleck. I am only a fan of a couple of them, but it will draw fans from each. PLus, light hearted comedies are fun to see.
The Changeling should be renamed The Dangeling because that is what Angelinas body parts will be doing after these blobs.

Thats very true they would have been compared because they're opening the same day. I still think its pointless to do this after 3, almost 4 years to single out the actresses like that. Jen's movie has an assemble cast of people. Its not just her. So its kinda disrespectful to the other actors. Good actors too. Disrespectful to Jen and Angelina. Jen has moved on with her life. She doesn't want to be connected to Angelina her whole life. Don't get me started on what an insult it is to Angelina.
I wish he had just done a straight forward review of both films instead of this bullshit.
I don't think the studios planned this all.

I loved it. But Dramamine is required.
Yes, Rosemary's Baby!! Also, The Omen freaked me out. And, as much as I don't care for Nicole Kidman, The Others scared the living shit out of me.
Um I'm sure both movies will suck major monkey balls. Both women seem to be stuck on one type of movie and I agree. Aniston in lame same-old romantic comedies and Jolie in "wacko badass" anorexic shooting movies. I'm skipping both for my mental sake. Not into both.

I just watched Ghost Story a few weeks ago but didn't find it as scary as the first time I saw it (probably around 12).

The Sixth Sense

And DON'T watch it on a full stomach. I seriously very nearly puked. I'm not kidding. Had to pause the movie twice.

jen aniston make me yawn and so do her movies.
Angie's last hit was just three years ago. That ish made over 400 million globally. She doesn't need another hit for another 5 years. Same with Brad although I think Brad will see box office with that Benjamin Button story. The talk with Changeling is Angelina and OSCAR, rated almost a 9 and critics are raving. This is strange because in the middle of The Good Shepherd AMH, Wanted and Changeling she's managed to get awards buzz and get pregnent with three children. It can be done Ms. Aniston.

Oh. That makes a little more sense.
Well I still think he is a dumbass for trying to compare a mainstream film with one opening in limited release. The numbers won't be the same no matter who stars in either one.
****************************************
Stoney-- I'll take this one. You've already taken one for the team.
HA-- Again, you are missing the point. He is comparing the two movies because of a) the history between the two actors and b) every movie that comes out on the SAME DAY is going to be compared. It doesn't matter if they are Limited Release, Big Budget, Independent, Comedy, Drama or the Poopy Jacuzzi video. They are going to be compared because they are in some way going to be in competition. He didn't just randomly pick these two movies to compare; as MK pointed out, ya think maybe the Studio Execs did this on purpose???
Oh, how could I forget the Shining.
