The whole issue came about because California did away with the death penalty shortly after they all got convicted. Everybody's sentence was commuted to life in prison. They have a right to parole hearings. Denying them their hearings would be denial of their due process under the law. They will never get out. There is no way any parole panel will ever let the participants out. Squeaky got out because she didn't really do shit. She wasn't involved with the murders, she only gave a half-assed attempt on President Ford.

Way off topic but what kind of dog is that in your avie? My dog looks just like that I bought her without papers the guy said she was a chihuahua but my vet said he thinks she's a Papillon.

They are often mistaken for long haired Chi's.
