I can tell you this-- a very close member of my family is a "higher-up" on the set of GH. That person says that this guy is as nice as they come. That same member of my family has worked with many other actors and says that not many are as gracious and stay in the business as long. He deserves some credit for that, IMO.

Santa Barabara became a favorite for me, too. That was one of the few soaps that delivered the goods with smart and witty writing, yet laughed at itself at the same time.

I still think Santa Barbara is the best soap. I loved Eden & Cruz together.I am still stuck in the 1980's a bit in terms of soaps. I used to watch GH a while ago. I started when Sonny and Brenda were about to get married and one of them was stood up at the alter. I loved the orginal LUCKY w/ Elisabeth. They were so cute . Than I had to stop bc/ of the mob stories.

Actually, Aphid, on One Life to Live right now, there is a possible future rapist/victim love story brewing. Marty has amnesia and doesn't remember Todd, therefore she doesn't remember being raped by him a long time ago. I think I was only about 8 and used the watch the show regularly with my grandma, of all people! I don't think I really knew what was going on or paid very much attention to the rape episode, but I do remember being very interested in the storyline from the time they were on the run together up to their wedding. Yes, back in the day pretty much anything went on daytime TV!
