OH!!! I LOVED Dody Goodman. My favorite story about her is she was directing Shirley Booth in a play and the script had the word 's-h-i-t' in it & everytime Shirley came to that line in the play, she would just stop. Finally, Dody got fed up and the next time Booth hesitated, Shirley stormed the Stage and said, "LOOK Shiiiirley, Ahm ONLY askin you to SAY it not Hold it in your HAAND!"

First time I saw Dody Goodman was in San Frnacisco, on stage opposite Buster Keeton in the play "Once Upon A Mattress". Can you imagine? She was an original and I will truley miss her. Thank you and God Bless, Dody.

Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman was one crazy soap opera. My Mom loved to watch it and I was too young at the time to understand how cutting edge it was.

Louise Larkin, Dody Goodman, Mary Kay Place, Greg Mullavy, Debra Lee Scott with that sexy overbite, Martin Mull, and Dabney Coleman. Superb cast and great show!!!! What else to expect when Norman Lear is the writer. He's the bomb.
