Mitch Wino has officially become the White Oprah of Britain. This bitch just won't stop with his press releases and statements to the media. His statements always have "DUH" written all over them.
Mitch talked to BBC News about Wino's emphysema. He said, "I want people to understand - even if they give her one cigarette, they're causing her harm. My biggest fear is that she would die, but she won't die of a drug overdose. It won't be that quick. She would die, unfortunately, of emphysema... We would be talking about a very slow and painful death, gasping for air. I would ask any people who would supply her with substances to think on that."
Instead of giving ten million interviews a week, Mitch needs to stick a sausage in it and find ways to help his daughter. He's always telling the media that Wino's friends need to stop feeding her habit. Less talk, more action. I'd threaten to shank her friends or call the po-po on their skank asses. Shit, put her ass on "Intervention." Candy Finnigan will straighten her out.
He also said that Wino has 5 gigs between now and September. After September she won't perform for a while and instead will spend her time "relaxing and writing." Um...and doing crack. He forgot that one.

I quit smoking two years ago, and I tell ya, it was hell. Did it cold turkey after smoking 1+ packs a day for over 25 years. In the first three days, I had these enormous waves of nicotine cravings that just washed over my whole body about every 10 to 30 minutes. But once you get through about 3-5 days, you are home free. OT: Amy needs to do the same and stop fucking around. Just put it down. People make such a big deal about AA, and whatnot. Just put down your addictions and move on to a better life. There is absolutely no other way to overcome an addiction than for you to decide you are empowered and in-charge, and not diseased, and in complete control of your future and your addiction(s).
I first heard of her at the same time I first starting hearing about all the drugs, so they're kinda synonymous in my mind. I have her album, she's definitely talented, but overrated, and at this point, oh so over.

The Brits have been hardwired smokers for generations. In WW2 the British Government sent more cigarettes to the frontline than bullets. I grew up in the UK. Everyone smoked inside, and no cunt opened a window because it was too cold.

Ooh, thanks. I didn't even think about how crack smoke might affect it either. I was just shocked, since my Grandmother smoked 2 packs a day for over 30 years and didn't develop emphysema until she was in her 60's. My mother and aunt have also smoked a ton for 25+ years now and don't have it yet.
I still don't understand how her family could be completely powerless to do anything more than whine to the media. I am, admittedly, not familiar with the UK's legal system, however, and given their general treatment to drug-using celebs they probably subsidize Wino's crack habit.

“Someone her age should not be having emphysema for any reason unless she has does have a congenital disorder like ATT,” Dr. Len Horovitz, a pulmonary specialist and internist at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, told FOXNews.com. "We don't know if she has this of course."
But, he added her lifestyle choices could have attributed to this diagnosis.
“She could be getting emphysema from chronic smoking of crack or enough episodes of acute crack lung,” said Horovitz, who has not examined Winehouse. “Combined with cigarette smoking... this could accelerate the process of emphysema. This lung damage and loss of lung tissue is permanent."

Actually, he is 100% correct. If you already have set in emphysema you are in a pretty bad place. You have to completely quite smoking immediately and not even be in close proximity to anyone who is. And smoking crack. And if you think crack and herion is bad, get stuck on alcohol. That is the absolute worst. Alcohol withdrawal is very digusting and the one and only drug that's withdrawals can kill you.
