Knox Or Rex?
As you know, Brangie named one of those chosen twins, Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt. A source told Rush & Molloy that they were this close to naming him "Rex." Six weeks ago, they ordered a play mat from plainmary.com with the name "Rex Leon Jolie Pitt" embroidered on it. They recently ordered a new play mat with the Messiah's new name on it.
Brangie wanted a boy's name ending with the letter x to go with their other boy's names. That means when they have a fourth son (which they will), they will name him Chex, Mex, Sex, Tex, Hax, Lax, Bux, Sux or Lox. I can do that all day. Max, Tax, Sax....
In other Golden Twins news, the bidding war for the first pictures is heating up. The newspaper in Nice, France claims they made a deal for $11 million. But some reports claim the battle continues and the pictures will most likely get around $15 to $20 million.
The magazine who wins will not only have to sell all their first borns to pay for the pictures, but they will also have to spend more dough to pay scientists to invent special cameras. There's no way these special twins can be photographed with just a regular camera. Their greatness will break lenses.

In my opinion, this whole Brangelina charity thing is a huge front. I think when those two got together, they realized they were in for career-killing bad press. So they, their agents, publicists and the rest of their celebrity machine sat down for a big brainstorming session. 'How do we essentially screw over one of America's Sweethearts and not take a hit for it?' was the big question on the table. Then one of Jolie's minions pointed out that Jolie was getting a bit of good press off her adoption of Maddox and the now defunct Maddox Jolie Project and her visits to refuge camps and 'the strategy' was born.
All in all, Jolie has spent some time visiting refuge camps and making speeches at the UN. Pitt's project in New Orleans smacks of self-absorbed hubris given the complexities surrounding the issue of rebuilding in the 9th Ward. What measurable difference the couple has made in the lives of those in need is another big question. It can be argued that the largest benefit has been to Brangelina in the form of a rehabilitated reputations. It can also be argued this was always the primary goal.
There are unfortunate victims in Brangelina's ambitious, heat-seeking missile of an agenda. Jennifer Aniston and Laura Dern, both talented actresses, will forever be famous for being the lesser women who lost their men to Angelina Jolie. Aniston was once on the verge of movie career that held the same promise as that of Jolie and the damage done to her, professionally, is incalculable. Thanks to the 'Brangeloony' effect, she will forever be held captive in that thing she referred to as the "Bermuda Triangle". They will never let her go....and that is sad.
Even more sad is the idea that this disease of celebrity-worship is clearly spreading outside the borders of the US. When serious, social issues such as the murder of a young man, and racial and religious intolerance, take a back seat to the birth of celebrity children, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that all the UN speeches in the world don't seem to matter in the grand scheme of things. And it's become abundantly clear these high profile overseas birthing events are not the result of Jolie and Pitt seeking privacy, rather it is just another instance of them 'feeding the beast' of fame. After all, if it was privacy they sought, Brangelina could have taken a page from the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes manual for a private birth.
Ah well. Two things in this world that are a given and unavoidable....Karma and Backlash. Won't be too much longer now.

Thanx girly!! yeah my brother said basically anyone who doesn't vote for obama only has a problem with him because of his race! that totally pissed me off, because when it comes to politics, I judge by a candidates actions not what they look like! If all that mattered where looks, I'd be defending Brangelina right now, not cursing them off! Angelina does say some smart things sometimes, so maybe she'd have a shot in politics, I think actually she missed her calling, because when it comes to running for office being a media whore is a REQUIREMENT! After the stunt with the Mayor, I don't trust either of them. I'm concerned Brad building those homes may just be an excuse to promote himself as an architect. he's now helping design a fancy four star hotel in dubi! Dubi is all about big bucks! It's supposed to be environmentaly friendly, but in dubai? they have such bad pollution, I don't think there's much he can do now to help them, at least not by building one environmentally friendly hotel when it surrounded by other buildings that are not environmentally friendly. And I seriously doubt his one hotel will persuade the whole city of dubai to be environmentaly friendly! Harry Connick Jr is rebuilding New Orleans, he was their the next day saving people, but nobody really noticed because sean penn went there to get himself good publicity, but he was an idiot and got caught in a photo with a rifle!

yes i totally saw what you wrote, thanx. basically my brother is the the type of person I was describing, he says nasty things that are judgemental so I guess that particular type of person rubs me the wrong way, but it definatly doesn't apply to all! as for the mispelling, sometimes I press the wrong letter and don't always look before posting, but thanks for being cool about it. as for the tabloids, some of them only run stuff when their is stuff to run, but intouch, life an stlye, and Ok are excessive and just try to make a story out of nothing! People are brangelina friendly but they only put stuff out when it's a story, but they don't need to pay that much money. And these tabs used do do with wonkey what they did with Brangelina, but people wanted that to stop and they did, and it's not hurting them any. I also read about a year ago, there was a study of these tabloids, that weeks with brangelina on the cover made less money for the magazine, and Jennifer Aniston made much more money if she was on a cover another week. Likability of a public figure is a very big factor in sales!

the whole association of a star with any given charity is to get people to put in $$ for it. In that respect, they are doing a good thing. I don't particularly like Sally Struthers but she has raised major moula for starving kids all over the world. The best way is to check with the charity and see what percentage is given to administration (includes shipping, storage, adv, staff, cameras, etc.) versus monies that go to the needy. I do not like United Way because so much of their funding goes to admin purposes.
(It is also what made Bob Geldorf unique. He said every dime to needy and he meant it. Zero dollars for Admin and he did it by baggering for storage facilities, shipping etc.)
yeah I feel other celebrities who do charities are alot more sincere. But deb I do appreciate your imput on that, because I was thinking maybe to not bring up the charity part, that it might be too harsh, so I'm glad you gave me your imput. I tried checking for their charities Better buisness burreau, they weren't even listed. maybe they're too new. I just feel distrustful of them and their motives after the mayor of nice's press conference, they gave him the birth certificates themselves, and gave his permission to do it, so it makes me wonder how sincere they are. Maybe instead of threatening not to give their charities, I'll just write people feel distrustful of them and their sincerity because of this recent behavior, and if we are thinking it's about ego, it can undermine helping people, or other celebrities who are very sincere about what they do.

When (And if) we have a son, we want to use the name (I read on here some people think it's douche-y or whatever, but it's a Family name..)
Anyhow, I'm kind of glad she didn't name her boy twin Rex, cause then if she did, I'm sure there'd be a increase of the name, just as I think there was a (Small) increase in the name "Maddox" after she adopted him.
