ok this is my much sought-after assessment of this relationship:

I think first and foremost they are good friends, I think Sam did the whole drunken at the gas station pics thing to show her friend how fucked up she really is, and right after that, Linds got help. After Rehab Take 3 she pretty much cut off everyone she was prev. associated with, but NOT the person who let her get photographed all fucked up? LL has said before how terrified she is of being alone, and the only person who seems to have been there for her, with no personal interest is SamRo, so she clings to her, I think. I do believe there is a sexual side to their relationship because Linds has gone gayelle before, but I think this thing with SamRo is a unique thing and that Lindsay is not really lesbian for good.

Either way, she seems happier than she has been in a long while and obviously cares for Sam, so I say Go team Gayelle!
