Elisabeth Hasselbarf got all emotional on "The View" today while talking about the use of the "N" word. It all started when the group of hens started yapping about Jessie Jackson using the word in a news tape on Fox News. Elisabeth tried to argue that we all live in the same world and so nobody should use that word ever, because of the children. Think of the children!
That's when Whoopi turned on and told Elisabeth that we don't live in the same world, and that the word is only as powerful as we allow it to be. The fake bitch didn't understand this shit so she started breaking down.
You know when you hear bad news and you don't really care about it, but you think you should care about it, so you try and force the tears to come out? That's what Elisabeth was doing. Bitch needs to learn the "pull your pubic hairs" technique to bring on the real tears.
Ugh. She's so annoying! I just wanted Whoopi to calmly walk over and slap her in the teeth. That would've made the bitch cry for real.
Thank God for crazy ass Barbara Walters who saved the day with her zany tongue.

Gotcha-- I was reading your response in the context of LCT's post. You are probably right in your reading of Whoopi's response. My problem is that Whoopi may be making a certain point, but she circles around the point so many damn times before making it that I tend to tune-out before she lands, so I will take your word for it.

Yeah i thought when Woopti Do said the thing about the two different worlds she meant that elizabeth lives in her world that she knows and woopi knows another world that is very different fromt he world that Ann Coulter lives in.
Kind of like how i live in my own world. The city of Denile. I pretend that Gossip Girl doesnt exist in my world. It is a far different world i live in than the world that twatt waffles live in.

Elizabeth started crying because Whoopi snapped back on her, and there is nothing Elizabeth could say as a denial to what Whoopi was saying.
While I understand, appreciate and agree with Elizabeth's statement that we are all living in one world, and we should remove that word that causes such division, Elizabeth was faced with the point for the first time, that simply removing that word won't stop all the division.
I truly don't think she ever really considered beyond that before. For her, taking that word away would make all the hurt and anger go away. That's not how the world is. Having Whoopi, who knows what it's like to walk in both worlds, tell her so, was more of the truth than she wanted to handle.
It's nice to think that we can, and it's admirable to dream of it happening, and to want it to happen, but attitudes have to change as well as language. Halting all use of that word is only a start. This deal of "we can use it, but you can't" is obviously not working.

Growing up, I was told that was worst word one could use, far more complex than a bit of profanity, and that use of that word demonstrated an iffy background.
