I don't like to pick on kids as for the most part it's not their fault, but if Vadge can find time to paint her Italian locks, I am sure she can find time to do something about the fact that her kid is playing Victor/Victoria...

I know Carlos Leon is not solely responsible. Vadge is almost all Italian. Poor kid had it coming.

You hit the nail on the head there. A really good book for this discussion is My Mother, Myself, and I. It talks about the complications that women face as girlchildren enter womanhood at the same time that their mothers enter cronehood. It's so emotionally complicated. There's a lot of letting go and passing on and respect that has to be present - issues that our culture tend to struggle with on the simplest levels.

I was hoping that Madonna would be one person to get past it - but, as I often am, I was wrong.

I agree. I call photoshop. Not that I don't think Vadge doesn't have cheek implants, she does, but some of those pictures literally make her look deformed, and while make up can work wonders, it cannot cover up a deformity. Besides in the 5th pic, she doesn't looked deformed...
