Wino Rushed To The Hospital
Amy Wino was rushed to the emergency room of London's University College Hospital tonight. Paramedics were called to her home in Camden around 8pm. Shortly after they arrived, they wheeled her into an ambulance as Mitch Wino watched. Apparently, she was breathing with the help of an oxygen tank. Her rep confirms that she's been admitted to the hospital.
The rep wouldn't say why she's in the hospital, but it's pretty fucking obvious. This news makes me want to open up my window and scream, "Winoooooo."
That hot police lady seems really concerned....
UPDATE: Her rep has issued this statement, "Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to the hospital. Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow." Yeah, it's not such a good idea to mix crack with prescription medication. I'm not a doctor, but that's just a hunch.

With her last hospitalization, it was concluded her lung capacity was diminshed, as a result of her drug habits.(according to dad)
Bronchodilators(inhalers)are prescribed for certain pulmonary conditions, and she was photographed with one in her hand. Inhalers can increase the heart rate...so does crack. It doesn't take much, in her cachectic state, to push her over the edge.

The Brand Name of the drug is Flagyl. To clear up a few misconceptions and inform others of documented warnings:
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Alcohol should be avoided because metronidazole and alcohol together can cause severe nausea, vomiting, cramps, flushing, and headache.
Metronidazole should not be combined with amprenavir for treating human immunodeficiency disease (infection with HIV) because amprenavir contains propylene glycol. Metronidazole blocks the breakdown of propylene glycol in the liver leading to accumulation of propylene glycol in blood. Accumulation of propylene glycol could cause seizures, increased heart rate, and lead to kidney failure.
Metronidazole increases the blood levels of carbamazepine, lithium and cyclosporine though unknown mechanisms. Serious reactions may occur if these drugs are taken with metronidazole.
From RXlist: "Patients with severe hepatic disease metabolize metronidazole slowly, with resultant accumulation of metronidazole and its metabolites in the plasma. Accordingly, for such patients, doses below those usually recommended should be administered cautiously."
Patients with liver disease simply need lower doses of antibiotics, they aren’t necessarily allergic to the antibiotic.
All patients, need to have meds prescribed for treatment, with consideration to other prescribed meds, an accurate health history from the patient,(including recreational drugs) and/or medical records available.

When I saw the last post MK had of her I honestly thought, it's a miracle this girl is still alive!!! She looked like complete shit in those photos, like a walking corpse, and less than a day after that I see this. What a waste. tonic: OT. A friend of mine had her bridesmaids buy any dress they wanted. It had to be black, not satin, knee length. Everyone found a dress that fit, they got to choose a style that would flatter them, and they DEFINITELY got to wear the dress again.
