Okay, what in lezzie flannel hell is Ellen wearing? I swear she stole my first communion outfit out of my mother's guest room closet. That's practically the same shit I wore except I had fancy silver shoes with bells on them. No joke. What's gayer than gay? Fancy silver shoes with bell on them.
Portia looks loverly as usual. And so happy! I would be fucking happy too if I just married a dykey pot o' gold! Portia better not have signed a prenup! Prenups are my worst nightmare. They ruin everything!

why do gay people always hug each other so damn much?
i was in amsterdam for gay pride weekend a couple weeks ago (just a scheduling fluke. i didn't know it was pride week), and everyone just hugs each other. heck! why not swap a little spit now and again? we breeders do it all the time, so if you're obviously out why not go all the way with it?
i just don't get it.

Lor... just for starters... you don't wear a VEST over an un-tucked shirt, unless you are being very casual - in which case - if you are at your own wedding - your attire's style should not clash with your marriage partner's. Portia's dress is hardly "casual". It's kind of sub-basic Fashion 101.

I think any couple thats been together for 4 years and STILL wants to get married are very lucky indeed to have found someone they truly connect with. That dress is slamming. What were people expecting Ellen to wear, a dress? a black tux? I think they look fabulously dressed for the occasion.

let me just say first off, that I am happy for them, they seem to be very much in love.
that said... there arises some other creepy vibe that I am getting, and I don't know what it is. (and it ain't the gay wedding thing). Something about this whole affair just seems "off"... and disturbingly incongruent. I hope it is not a foreboding. Ellen's attire is positively unconscionable...Portia (in stark and frightening contrast) is out of a fairy tale... the backyard setting looks like a little park in the middle of a shopping center, and WTF is up with the DOG as part of the ceremony - when things are looking all official...the hideous yard accoutrements... lack of flowers or any decorations whatsoever... park bench background... obligatory tent - for what, 6 people to party in?... I don't know... it just seems a little creepy to me. Can't put my finger on what it is though.
