Every time someone speaks out against Brangelina's fuckery, I say a little prayer for them. They have no idea that they have just opened the door to a whole lot of crazy coming their way.
Roseanne took to her blog on Friday to attack Saint Angelina for not endorsing Barack Obama.
In a post titled "Jon Voight," Roseanne writes, "jon voight your evil spawn angelina jolie and her vacuous hubby brad pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more. (just sayin')." Rosie, why don't you tell us how you really feel? Don't hold back!
Rosie went on to rant, "Also miss jolie says she likes mccain too and hasn't decided who to endorse....huh? Aren't you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the african daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party's worldwide economic assault on africa over the last few decades since reagan? whaaaa...??????!!!! (for that matter, the thai and vietnamese sons you are photo'd with weekly too!!!? who's pictures you sell to raise money to help the poor? Their families are victims of America's right wing military incursions too. Mccain wants to continue with the idea of war for profit...the americans are over that thinking now! They have drugged our troops and lower classes into supporting their oil business atrocities for long enough. We want to save not lose our souls thank you. That being said, Roseanne doesn't need the psychic wonder known as Becky #1 to tell her that she has a shit load of angry e-mails coming her way.
A lot of e-mails that say, "DEAR ROSIEANNE, DIE ALREDY! YOU ARE A JELIS LOOSER. BRANGELINA IS THE SUN, MOON AND STARS. U WISH U HAD THIER TALNET, BEATEY AND HART. I HATE U AND HOPE U GET HIT BY A PLANE!" Seriously, a Brangaloonie wrote me once and said they hope I get hit by a plane. A plane! That basically explains what makes up a Brangaloonie.
And something tells me Saint Angelina read Rosie's rant, picked up her golden phone, hit speed dial #1 and said, "God? It's me, Saint Angie. You know Roseanne Barr? Take care of it."

I do agree with you on this point. I am currently drowning in SL debt and working at Legal Aid for the SSI/SSD division (and have also delayed having kids because I can't effing afford them and don't want em!). Most of the people who come to us for help are in desperate need of it. Of course, there are the rest (who are generally more system-savvy) who make it that much harder for the truly deserving to get aid.
The system needs to be completely gutted and rebuilt -- I can't tell you how frustrating it is to have someone who lost his arm and leg on the job sitting in front of you with his third SSD rejection letter while at the same time watching fat breeders with 4 or 5 kids sit around and collect checks from the government. I am as liberal as they come, but the system is totally fucked and can't be repaired at this point. Much like Tori Spelling's face, it needs to be dismantled and rebuilt. Of course, if I knew how to do that I'd probably be making a lot more money.

I am going to jump in again quickly before I leave work to say that I think Obama is the lesser of two evils. Having just lost my cousin in Iraq, I plan to vote for whoever is going to try to keep my brother out of there. It would also be nice to vote for someone who isn't going to appoint enough Supreme Court justices to overturn Roe v. Wade.
And curse the system that forces us to choose the lesser of two evils in the first place! Campaign finance reform, that's what I want. Get those rich pandering motherfuckers out of the running.
ETA: I totally agree with Fat Martha! I just can't resist a good political discussion, even though I know my feelings will get hurt and nothing will be resolved. What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment.

Exactly. When I made the comment that I do not want to support criminals and welfare queens, it was assumed I was talking about blacks. Um no, there's plenty of white trash out there living off the government, too. When I went to H & R Block to get my taxes done this year, the guy doing my taxes (who happened to be black) and I started talking about all the different things people can claim, including children, and the welfare the government provides to these families, and he gave me this disturbing rundown about how a single woman with several children and no job can earn $30,000 a year just sitting on her ass and breeding. That's pretty close to my salary, and I have a college degree and have waited until I'm financially ready to start a family. And the government doesn't reward me for being this smart, rather they rape me in the ass in taxes. Fucking ridiculous. And it will be worse with Obama I'm sure of it.

It is obvious, the war is doing more to breed a second generation of terrorists than keep this country safe. Money could be better spent on intelligence.

I think its rediculous to say that the aftermath regarding the disaster in Katrina was largely a race issue. If anything the government is more driven by the amount of income the families has in that situation rather than the skin color. Not to mention, the local government in New Orleans was fucked up, they had been told previously (with countless previous hurricane warnings) that with the condition of the levys needed to be repaired.
I could be wrong, but I never have seen where this has been a race issue. The government will always suck the dicks of the wealthy regardless of the race.

I agree with you. Although the civil rights movement chaged things a lot, things are not racially equal. (Nor are the sexes actually equal in this country either, howver we are far ahead of most other cultures)
But does that mean that Michelle Obama, as the frontrunning presidental cadidates wife, should say publicly that she's never been proud of her country?? Especially coming from a background of great opportunity (daughter of a lawyer, attended Priceton and Yale) like she has.
There are a lot of inequalities and injustices remaining in this country for sure, but who in their right fucking mind would make such a comment publicly at such a time? Its just un-wise.

It can be argued that MLK Jr's dreams didn't really come into fruition. Look at what happened during Hurricane Katrina - not to mention that there's still tons of segregated urban areas, inner city schools still don't get nearly as much funding or attention as schools where whites are the majority, etc. There is still a ton of racial inequality in this country and to think any different is just plain naive. I don't have a problem with what she said because she's speaking from her experience, which isn't exactly wrong.
With that said, vote for the independent candidate! That would throw everybody's ass for a loop if Ron Paul won.
