Dear Dan, Do You Need Help Tying Your Shoes?
Daniel Radcliffe has a small case dyspraxia, a disorder that fucks up your coordination.
DanRad's spokesbitch said, "Yes, Dan Radcliffe does have dyspraxia. This is something he has never hidden. Thankfully his condition is very mild and at worst manifests itself in an inability to tie his shoelaces and bad handwriting." Bad handwriting? I probably have a terminal case of dyspraxia.
DanRad also joked about his condition, ""I sometimes think, 'Why, oh why, has Velcro not taken off?'"
Poor Hairy Potter. I will gladly help him tie his shoelaces anytime he needs it. And while I'm down there, I might as well as polish his.....sneaker's tongue. What did you think I was going to say? You filthy ass bitches!

I think contacts for a kid would be too much. They could have changed them digitally though. Hairy's (keeping that typo) eyes are beautiful and it wouldn't have mattered at all, had JK not made such a big deal about how Hairy's eyes were exactly like Lily's (his mother) book after book. Anyhoe, DanRad will always be the perfect Harry Potter, green eyes or not. What I really like about him is how nice he is. He seems to be such a sweet and down to earth guy.

I tried contacts in the first film because in the book Harry's eyes are supposed to be a brilliant green and mine are much bluer than they should be. So we put green contact lenses in but they were excruciatingly painful. So I don't think we'll be going back down the contact road if I can avoid it. - from interview with DR on

Hmmm. I'm ok with Daniel's blue eyes.
Daniel was what, say 9 or 10 when filming began. I don't know that contacts are viable/safe for kids. Also, i did not enjoy Rowlings writing stytle (LOVE the story/movies), so tended to do not worry about her detail too much, so i had completely forgotten his eye color by the time of the movie...
That's just me though.

1. Inability to act.
2. Harry Potter is constantly described as skinny. Dan? Chunky.
3. Harry Potter has constantly scruffy hair. Dan? Flatty McFlatFlat hair.
4. EYE COLOUR. Would it have been SO hard to give him contacts?
5. Inability to act. Oh, did I already say that one? Whatever, it's worth two mentions.
