Jill Biden Is Missing Something

I love how McCain is touting that Obama is a celebrity when McCain actually made more guest appearances on entertainment shows like a full hour of SNL and The View to name a few.

He's so bitter that Obama is actually LIKED more than he is that he likens him to a celebrity. Sour, sour grapes. You don't just get awarded presidency because you were a "war hero". McCain acts as if he's entitled to the position just because of his time served.

About the ageism thing. It isn't that John McCain is old, but that he looks decrepit. I know plenty of people his age who don't look like they're about to croke like he does.

It's actually kind of funny how life has worked out for McCain. He left his first wife because she was no longer pretty due to a debilitating accident, and now he isn't pretty enough for the American public.

And just one last thing. How in the world is there even one person who would vote for McCain, a good political ally of Bush? Insanity is repeating the same mistake over and over again without learning why it's a mistake. Voting for McCain, someone too much like Bush for this time especially, is the definition of insanity.

I just got back from my pap's funeral. He was a World War 2 hero, featured in the book Flyboys. He was the greatest, kindest man I have ever known. I never cried so hard or felt so proud thinking about all the man had done in his life as they draped his American flag over his coffin. Hearing ignorant people talking shit about war heroes is just about the last thing I have tolerance for right now.
I've had a half bottle of wine, and haven't slept for a few days, so I'm not at my most articulate at this point.
My pap was a conservative war hero and he was also the kindest, sweetest, most caring and responsible family man I can imagine - a class act through and through. He visited my grandma, who is totally gone with Alzheimer's, twice a day everyday through the pain from his cancer until he literally couldn't do it anymore.
So he was a war vet, devoutly religious, and a conservative - so many liberals are ready to slander people like that with their bullshit, but they have no fucking clue what it took to get our country to where it is today, no fucking clue what these people mean to their families and to history. The ignorance is astounding.

First of all, people are allowed to have differences of opinion. If you don't respect me anymore because I'm not a republican fangirl, I'm not going to worry about it. I dont think Obama could do a worse job. Nobody is going to be the perfect choice and whoever we put in there is going to make mistakes, that's a given. Whoever gets into office has a major uphill battle in getting this mess of a country back into decent shape so there are bound to be issues. But this current administration has done more wrong than right IMO and if McCain's intent is to continue on this path of Glaringly Wrong then I cannot support him and it is hard for me to understand why anyone would.
