I agree angel_i - the fact is - everyone has the right to their own opinion and who they prefer as a candidate without name calling. Which, as you can see there has been alot of name calling and stereotyping. Not fair, especially when people (on both sides can be misinformed and can learn from each other)

I feel this frustration. People tend to respond emotionally and then find facts to back that up, rather than go looking for facts first. And then, of course, because everything is labeled and numbered in this 1st world, you are expected to make choices based on those labels rather than the truths you see around you - which are constantly changing.

I don't like to talk politics on a gossip website but you people that are going to vote for McCain are insane. He is an enemy to women. All Republicans are. Even Ron Paul is against choice.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian, and therefore not a Republican, regardless of his views on abortion. Harry Browne, (the Libertarian candidate in 2000), said that while he personally felt abortion to be morally wrong, he felt just as strongly that it was not government's place to regulate it.

Even if you are against abortion how can you be against birth control? The Bush administration recently tried to classify birth control pills as abortifacients, meaning they cause abortions. When that didn't work, this happened:

I think I am in love. Someone who doesn't feel the need to tow the leftist line on this site is completely refreshing. It's sad that some people just can't accept that some of us can agree with some of the ideals of both parties, but that to take one side over the other doesn't make us conservative OR liberal followers.
