So Controversial! was/is the title of the post, noting anything but controversial coming from our beloved (not) Madonna. And all I can see here is 'McCain this, Obama that, the war, the soldiers....blah blah'

I am no one to talk about US politics, first of all because I grew up in Argentina (and that is fucked enough to care about anything else, although I do), second because I now live in Canada and third because I do not posses the knowledge (nor do I care, honestly) to be arguing about American politics. I do care about human beings and I do respect good intentions and all of that fun, good, blah blah shit.

Reading the post and looking at that picture all I can think about is "Madonna, retire already or just shut the fuck up and stop shooting up roids cause your arms scare me and I will most likely use your pictures or even a recording of your concert to scare my (not born yet or conceived) children when spankies are not good enough".

Lay off the political shit, it was not good, it was not pretty, and it wasn't controversial, but by discussing it over and over and over again you are proving that statement wrong.

Um, no America is REALLY not liked in many countries right now (yes, Western Christian countries). How is the rest of the world still trying to be like us? India and China are ahead of us economically by leaps. We're losing or coveted position as #1. Don't get me wrong, I love America so my assesment is not against America, it's just a fact. Are you suggesting that, for instance, because American movies are big, we're loved? That's thin logic to me. The idea that "the rest of the world is trying to be like us" is based on evidence that is no longer current. As the American public, we've been so powerful and ahead in every arena for so long that we just assume we're always #1 and always will be. That's why we should all be up and current in what's really going on around us.

However, why would we exclude ourselves from the problems other countries are facing when there are arms to deal and oil to steal? Like I said, I based it on observing the fact that Obama has never blown a gasket during this campaign. He's been pretty zen about everything while McCain tries desperately to poke holes in his image. On the other hand, McCain has blown plenty of gaskets.
