It's a coming of age film about an adolescent girl who's searching for her father and/or a man for her mother. The cast is superb (Ione, Fairuza Balk, James Brolin, Brooke Adams) and the soundtrack is excellent (i.e. Nick Cave, J. Mascis does beautiful instrumentals). I highly recommend it.
